“Harris Teeter is much like a cross between Trader Joe's and a Fresh Market Store. Coming from Pennsylvania to NC I began searching for a market besides the larger corporate stores. I found it in Harris Teeter. They have everything you need as a market. I was very pleased to find the items I needed with little difficulty. Everyone was also very helpful.”
“Mr Tom McGrady is the best pharmacist on this earth. As soon as I arrived at our vacation home in Corolla Beach, I discovered I discovered that I had left my meds at home and panicked wondering how I could manage without them. Especially one for restless legs, and another which without them would cause discomfort. I called Sunshine Pharmacy and had the good fortune to hear Mr. McGrady, the pharmacist tell me with confidence, that he would get in touch with my doctors and get the meds for me the next day. He kept his word. It was not easy to get refill orders from my various doctors. He was so determined and caring. I felt as though I had a new friend. Because of him, I had a perfect vacation. I shall always be grateful to him. Let me end this way. Thank you Tom, for the “Sunshine” and good humor you showed me and my family during our crisis while vacationing at Corolla Beach.”
“In the chaos re: Covid shots, at 80 yo and being someone who gets Covid shots, I discovered not my CVS nor my pcp Beach Med was THE PROBLEM- that was go north on 95 and stop at HHS ! Fortunately, my CVS tech advised me which steps to follow to get a script for the shot and when to come back — and she was right - very professional and knowledgeable about this chaos ! I’m glad I have this CVS working so well on my behalf and also working well with my local medical office ! Kudos!”
“Tracy, the store manager was very helpful during a recent cropped picture issue I was having trying to do some gift magnets. He literally stopped what he was doing to help me for at least 1 hour, if not more. We were both stumped for a little bit but he was determined to find a way to make it happen. It just so happened to be for a very special occasion I was getting the gift for so I appreciate his extra dedication ensuring it all worked out. Everyone in the store is always generally very happy and helpful. The only one that can use some work is the young fella in the pharmacy with facial hair. He does not seem to want to be there at all and it seems it is painful for him to be helpful. Thanks for the great customer service, Tracy!”

“I was on vacation in the Outer Banks and forgot my preventative migraine medication that I take every day. This was an emergency situation! After calling my doctor's office in Virginia, and straightening out a very inconvenient and stressful situation with my insurance company it all eventually worked out. I don't use a Walgreen pharmacy at home. I go to an independently owned pharmacy. However, the staff here was kind and patient, and I appreciated all they did for me. Thank you! :-D”
