Woke. Great selection of kids books but it’s very woke. Biography selection is full of far left authors and the book store seems more well suited Berkeley than Moore County

I LOVE this bookstore so much! It's a bookstore like we used to have before Amazon came around. There's a huge variety of all genres and the employees know the inventory well. The atmosphere and decor inspires browsing, buying and reading! Additionally, they also have products for book lovers. If you love bookstores, you need to visit this one. We go every time we're in town.

Was in the area visiting my cousin (Oct. 9, late afternoon). Stopped in because it seemed like a nice selection of books, and I usually try to pick up a small gift for family when traveling! But those in this store definitely weren’t “welcoming” or friendly.Wandered around the store, OTHER patrons were spoken to, asked if they were doing okay or needed help. SMH, but if you don’t want me there, I definitely won’t stay or give you any money. I won’t go, visit, spend where I’m not wanted - I couldn’t leave fast enough.

Besides the falsehoods in one section of the children’s department (why I gave 4 stars), this is a very cute bookstore! If you’re an adult, definitely head in and find something amazing to read! If you’re looking for normal children’s stories, without a hidden agenda, make sure you really look through the books and read them first. Found this gem while looking for something cute for my little ones.

Amazed at the many recent books available at this store! The selection for children was amazing, too. Besides the books available, stop in to see all the store decorations. A black door in the children section has lots of additions from kids with their sidewalk chalk.

Local bookstore, they even will wrap your book. Perfect for getting gifts for kids birthday parties .

How have I missed this place?! Don't make the same mistake. Lovely selection of books... and love that there are recommendations on books from bookstore employees. Also love the NC author section. There are little chairs throughout to use while looking at books and plenty of bookstore knick-knacks. Great place!
