New fall merchandise was beautiful!! I would have like to tried on several items, but felt rushed to leave. It was 6:30 on Saturday evening, I looked for opening and closing sign but none was posted. I was in the store, all of 5 minutes when they turn off the music and started vacuuming. One of the associates came out where I was, never speaking. I decided to leave, it was 6:45. I checked the closing time on the app, i understand now that closing time is at 7 , but nevertheless making someone feel under important is very poor service.

I love shopping here. I feel like I'm shopping with girlfriends instead of staff. These people treat me like a close friend. Great experience.

The Chico's in Southern Pines is the worst store I have ever been in. I have been in that store on more than one occasion and the ladies there are very unprofessional and seem to be in need of diversity training of some sort. I walked into the store and was not greeted nor asked if I had any questions nor assisted in any way. However a short time later 3 Caucasian women walked in and they were greeted, waited on, asked if there was anything that they could do for them, etc. A short time later an African American lady walked in and there was silence with no questions asked and no service provided which is the same treatment as an African American, that I received upon my arrival. Until they are willing to treat everyone with the same level of respect, kindness, and courtesy, I will not personally be stepping back into the store. The only person who consistently shows professionalism and any sort of kindness is Maria who is one of the managers. I gladly walked across the parking lot and gave my business to Talbot where the people were very courteous and accommodating as well as very respectful to me while I shopped there.That is it and that is all.

The manager at this store is so rude my friend and I left without trying on the clothes we picked. I never encountered someone as nasty as her in a retail setting. If you can't replace her don't have a manager dealing with customers. She walks around with such a bad attitude. Made me so uncomfortable, I left the store

I was at Chicos in Southern Pines, yesterday!! The sales associate, never left the cash wrap area, instead she was busy on her phone. I think they rounded her up from, WalMart!! I am a very good customer, but left to fend on my own! Sad state of affairs, and very disappointed!!

I have been to this store twice and have received deplorable judgemental service on both occasions . I was accused both times of trying to return items that were not their merchandise and had my receipt to show that it was chicos merchandise. Racial profiling has taken place on both occasions it was implied that I was not going to purchase anything and one associate continued to assist others when I, a person of color was left to stand at the register for several minutes before acknowledging my existence by the other sales associate. The staff needs training on dealing with people in general and most definitely people of color. If I could give less than one star then I would.

I would rate my experience a 0 if I could. The manager and staff are incredibly rude and judgmental. There is absolutely no chance I will return to this store. They ignore the customers and talk the entire time about how they will ruin businesses that don’t enforce three mask mandate.
