Tideline Fabrics has such a wonderful selection to choose from. Every time I’ve been there I’ve always found the folks there to be available and helpful. You don’t find that kind of customer service anymore in big box stores. The quality of fabrics is very nice and the knowledge of the staff is excellent. I have and will continue to recommend Tideline Fabrics to other people! If you haven’t stopped in yet you really should.

Most beautiful fabrics I've found in this area! Todd was very helpful in guiding me on the details to create a bed scarf for a queen bed. How much fabric, width & length for the best look & particulars on trim details!Alex took time to discuss how to create the perfect custom made sofa!Length, what style of arm, back, exposed legs or skirt, how many cushions....I realized that I can get the sofas of my dreams with the covering I love! Thank you Tideline for all your offerings, on top of the most beautiful fabrics around!!!.

Loved the fabric that can be cleaned with a white rag, dawn and some water. Spend the extra money for the high density foam and it will be worth it.

Found the perfect fabric for a window treatment. Gave a referral for seamstress to complete. Also had a wing chair updated with new fabric, done in-house.

Wow...what a way to run a business! The website shows Saturday hours, but when you make the trip from Southport to Shalotte, there's a sign posting "Summer Hours"...closed Saturdays (appointment only). So we go back on Monday...my bad...I hadn't noticed their sign also says closed on Mondays. Again, their website indicates they are open Saturdays and Mondays. When we return for the third time, the owner explains that it costs too much to change the website...a couple hundred dollars. Gee, thanks. Thoughtful. So, she seems like a nice lady, and we set up an appointment for the following Wednesday for her husband who does measuring to come by. He's a no show. When I call, she claims we didn't have a "hard" appointment. Also, when we were in their shop, there was a man who was talking with her in a friendly, chatty way. Turns out that when he left and we were still in the shop, he stopped to talk to my lovely 28 year old daughter who was sitting on their porch waiting for us with our leashed dog. He propositioned her...asked her if she was interested in older men, he had a farm and she could come stay with him. Seriously! What a pig! He was well into his 60's or 70's. When I told the shop owner, Sally, what happened, she said she didn't really know him despite the fact that she obviously knew him quite well. Her only remark was, "interesting." No apology for this creep who she obviously knew well. As if all this weren't enough, pretty limited selection of fabrics on site.

literally their work is flawless.they took a massive section and turned it into the most beautiful sectional imaginable. Pretty amazing store for upholstery grade fabrics, or custom work. Massive selection and great customer service.It's almost overwhelming, such a huge selection. They have it sorted well by type and color, and the staff are happy to discuss projects and tastes, and give us pointers.(Un) fortunately we liked everything and walked out with two bags full of stuff to try. It'll keep my wife busy a while!

We are updating our beach house and decided to visit this place in search of beachy fabrics. I don’t think we stayed longer than five minutes after encountering a gentleman who was less than helpful and clearly didn’t think we belonged in the store. Between the poor customer service and the limited fabric options, we decided to take our business elsewhere.

Ad says 1500 rolls fabric. No. Not near enough choices...same prints diff colors. Employees indifferent, like we were intruding. Over priced on upholstering chair. Not including material. Plus $50 pick up chair.Will look around in Little River area....

Should have read the reviews. After arriving for the first time, there is a sign on the door which, among other things, reads "No out of town customers". I did call prior to coming to make sure they were open and this was not conveyed in the recorded information. I live in Little River about 20 minutes away, and wearing a mask. Un-friendly. Evidently Shallotte needs another fabric store.
