This is the second time I have gone to the Dollar general in Shallotte, and the store was closed, because a truck had arrived. To close a store because a truck arrived, that is rediculess The isle are full now from the last truck!! Where are the Managers, or district supervisor? I want go to this store again!!!

The old man is very rude will NEVER spend a penny in that store promise you that! Was shopping but got accused of going in the stock room don't look for the filters or anything on the back wall he will follow you around the store.

I left without buying anything because I wasn’t gonna wait in line behind 30 other people!!! Unreal!!! One employee was standing in the isle just blabbing away to a customer about someone’s else’s drama! I felt bad for the lonely cashier trying to get through all those people!Interestingly enough I am here again 3 years later and it’s still pathetic. The chic behind the counter has zero personality and I had to take a picture of the barcode on the pool outside to buy it. I guess they’re not smart enough to have that available at the counter. Unbelievably stupid!!

Stopped to exchange a propane tank seen 6-7 full tanks with a seal cashier said they were all out. I told her there were full ones but she still told me they were out

This was a good place to shop, when Ann was manager! I was shopping, went to cashier, there were two women talking about when they had to come to work, so I moved the merchandise closer to the cashier to make sure she could see it. She looked at me and kept talking, I waited never got checked out, she watched as I walked out the door. I went next door to shop. When I came out those two women were standing outside smoking a cigarette.. Where are the district managers?
