A special place with great souvenirs and gift ideas and arts and crafts in Sneads Ferry! My family and I love this store since 2009, lots of ceramics painting sessions and birthday parties we attended as well there while our kids were growing up.Extremely saddened that the Turtle Factory will close its doors for good before the end of 2023.We all will miss Mrs. Ann and Mr. Ken and their lovely Turtle Factory ?♥️?

Our family including both small kids and a teen enjoyed our pottery painting & shopping experience. Excellent level of detail given for pottery instructions for the pieces to come out the best way possible. Reasonable prices and warm/inviting owner and staff. Will definitely return.

I am one turtley obsessed gal, so when I came on vacation and found this amazing gem, I was blown away! What unique turtle finds as well as local souvenirs. I met a gentleman and he was very sweet and helpful. I haven't stopped thinking about this store since! Stop in and you won't be disappointed :).

Just left here! Prices are great! I took home the cutest ornaments, they have painting stations it would be super cute to bring kids here to paint ceramics!

Took my Granddaughter bro here to paint pottery… this place is awesome! The gentleman who was working was very accommodating to us and a 5 YO, and set us up to paint… and the rest of the store has some really nice stuff for sale. Stop here on a rainy beach day!

The couple that runs this beautiful boutique are absolutely wonderful. So many perfect souvenir choices from local artists at reasonable prices. They offer ceramic painting which was perfect on the rainy day. Had a Christmas ornament personalized, my daughter had an assortment of jewelry. Paintings and clothes and other great gift ideas. My favorite store yet, will definetly be back next time!

Such a charming shop! Beautiful beachy knick knacks and a great selection of pottery to choose from for the painting experience. The owners are unbelievably kind and honestly hilarious. An excellent way to spend an afternoon!

We stopped here after our hours-long trip south for vacation. We still had a few hours before we could check into our beach house, so this was the perfect stop! Our 2 boys got to each pick out a ceramic piece, got to choose the paints/colors, and then sat and painted their selections. The Turtle Factory gave us the option to just keep as painted or to have them fire it and pick it up later in the week. It was a little more to have it kiln fired, but the outcome was worth it! Especially because we used the paint that had little pieces in it that burst when fired which changed the look! Worth the stop to just browse and see finished pieces, available for purchase, or to make your own! Just be sure to stop in early in the week(if you’re only down for a week’s vacation) so you have time to get your piece before you leave the island!
