I am so disappointed with this Dollar General in Sneads Ferry NC. Someone please tell me why this is not okay! I used to love coming into this store because of how kept it was. That was until I saw this ?. As a Criminology major this is showing me that the people who need these items steal, therefore, they need to be nearly behind the counter. I was told there was no other area in the store for these particular items. Please make this make sense and DO BETTER!

Typically this is my favorite DG but management doesn’t seem to be very helpful. They double scanned my item yesterday and charged me twice for it. Didn’t notice until I got home. Make sure you get a physical copy of your receipt here and check it. I had a picture of my receipt but that wasn’t enough. And once I found the physical receipt they weren’t even able to use it for the refund anyway. Inconvenient

Most of the staff is usually very nice and polite got accused of not scanning items at the self checkout by the manager was very awkward acted like I was stealing so that’s annoying

Not very helpful. The older lady at the register did not want to do her job and kept complaining the whole time at the register that she couldn't help with a purchase. It's easier to help people out who do not understand how a self checkout works. Poor customer left very upset without getting any help.

Very unorganized, they had Christmas boxes stacked inside one another like a package deal then find out they are sold separately, mentioned how that was false advertising and had I of done self checkout I would never of thought to open it and look for price tags on the other box, the older blonde clerk possible store manager seemed to not like my comment and asked another clerk to finish checking out my order. Very unprofessional could use some management classes and maybe customer service classes.

Stopped in the day to grab a couple things and I picked up chips that were supposed to be $1.95 each when you buy a four. I picked out four bags of chips that had tags in front of them One of the bags was a bag of popcorn. I go up to the register and I check out and I realize that my chips didn't ring up right so I tell the manager her name is INA. She walks over and takes all my chips and says that oh no you have to read the tag these aren't on sale. Ask her you know the tag is literally right in front of what I picked up off the shelf she said you have to read the tag It's not her responsibility she can't make sure that everything is in the right place. So after she's arguing back and forth about 20 ft away from me as I'm trying to pick out my other bag of chips I tell her that I just want to return everything. She said well she's the manager and her name is spelled i n a so I told her I'd be talking to corporate. Very poor experience very poor management skills would not recommend ever going here.

One of 3 dollar generals in sneads ferry, I feel like this one is more beach oriented toward the summer months than the other locations in the ferry. If its sold out of what you need because its busy dont worry check out the other 2 stores and there you should find what your looking for.
