Guys 100% recommend. We came last minute for a dress and were unsure if we could find the perfect one but it only took us 30 minutes to find the perfect dress AND shoes. The quality of the dresses are phenomenal. We originally came for a blue dress but left with the most gorgeous black dress. The customer service was excellent, they are so nice and helpful even though the store was very busy. The helped find a dress that complements my daughters body type. They have a wide range of styles, colors, and sizes so that everyone can find their dream dress.

I went yesterday with my daughter to pick out a prom dress and it was awesome. The staff was great, we made an appointment so we had the store to ourselves, she assisted my daughter with the dresses. It was a great experience, I recommend them for formal dresses.

Today was my first time at Jewels looking for a gown for my daughters sweet 15. I wanted something extravagant and elegant and was very excited to try a specific dress and although the dress didn’t fit as I was expecting. The girl helping me had the most bland non friendly customer service. I mentioned how the dress wasn’t what I was hoping and her response was “mmm”, now I know I’m plus size and possibly not many options but she didn’t offer to show me more dresses and or possibly order something. My whole experience was horrible, will never go back and I would not recommend this place at all. Customer service is very important and not judging a book by its cover is a ground rule. I definitely felt judged there and very awkward.

I went into this store after I had already looked online to see the dresses and prices. At this point I just wanted to try on dresses for my nieces quinceañera. When I walked in I just glanced and saw they had a small variety downstairs that was prom dresses. I wanted something a lil more formal and asked to go upstairs the lady that was helping me said “ oh those are more like pageant dresses that cost 1.2k+ you wouldn’t want to go up there “ then proceeded to walk me to a different place downstairs. She didn’t even ask me for my budget just assumed I didn’t want to spend or couldn’t spend that kind of money. So I found some downstairs that I wanted to try on but she honestly had a horrible attitude with me since I had came in. This was my first experience in a gown store but I was looking for a specific event and I didn’t have a budget so I was looking for anything I liked. But the attitude and attention I got was horrible. I’m a plus sized girl, so I didn’t have q lot of options and when I tried something on I didn’t really like the way it looked on me. When I asked to see another it kinda seemed like she was bothered. I even tried to make a lil joke because it was honestly so awkward at this point and complete silence. And I don’t want to say it has anything to do with race but when my sister came in ( we are both Hispanic ) you could see the lack of attention that she was willing to give us. When my sister tried on the dress and she didn’t really like the way it looked she told they lady this isn’t really how I imagined it and the lady helping us said “mmmm” and walked away. So it did kinda of seem like it had to do with race. Assuming I couldn’t afford 1.2k and then just the customer service we got. Horrible experience.

This was where our granddaughter decided she wanted to get her prom dress from. The place is always packedwith rude condicending people, the staff is very matter of fact, and they do not do any tailoring of the dresses they sell. Their prices are extremely high. For our granddaughter's dress it was $500 not including any Tailoring. If it were my choice I would have driven into Raleigh and gone to one of the finer dress shops and gotten her what she wanted and has it tailored all in the same place by a much more friendly staff.

Amazing staff…. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. This was my daughters first pageant and she took home a crown with the dress we purchased from Jewl’s. They have a huge selection of gorgeous gown.

When I walked in I was given mean and unwelcoming looks. I got dresses snatched out of my hands. The workers also stayed with me at the dressing room as if I wasn't capable of putting a dress on myself. They didn't even act like they wanted to be there. The store was beautiful but the experience was ruined because of their attitudes.

We were really excited to go in there, the dresses are beautiful but the store associates are extremely rude. They didn't greet us or ask us if we needed any help but then they went straight up to the family behind us and helped them with everything they needed. The lady had a sour face whenever we asked to try something on or asked any questions. 0/10 made us so uncomfortable and would not go back. They basically pushed us out of the store.

Their dresses are exquisite and in a wide variety of price ranges! Forget going all the way into Raleigh or Durham; you've got your very best source right here in Smithfield. My last job required me to attend multiple white-tie galas every year, and Jewel's selection, quality and styles are superior to big-name designer boutiques I've shopped at in Raleigh, Charlotte and Dallas. The sales associates are very helpful and give topnotch customer service. Elegance, thy name is Jewel. Highly recommend!

Fantastic customer service!! Our experience started with a warm greeting and explanation of how to maneuver through the store. Great selection of beautiful dresses! Lauren is superb- kind, offered great feedback, and so patient with my daughter.

Absolutely terrible. The sizing is not inclusive at all. They say they go up to a size 16, but the dresses are still rather small. Anyone who is a size six realistically wouldn’t fit into the dresses because of the way they fit. You can say “oh, they just need to be tailored” No, maybe you just need a more inclusive business.
