There is no A/C in this store and it’s 97 degrees outside. Store should be shut down before someone passes out. Huge fan at the front door on its last leg barely even spinning definitely not helping.

Just bought a pack of gatorades from this store, got home and they tasted bad. I checked the expiration date and realized they expired in March of 2021. Called the store multiple times to let them know to take them off the shelves and nobody answered.

I would give them a 0 if I could. My experience today Sept 30 2023 was terrible. not only do they need to renovate the store, they need to renovate the management. So I spend about 30- to 40 minutes in the store go o check out, I ask the cashier did it take my $10 off $40 coupon? ( you know the register is where you the customer cannot see the prices) she is like well it took 29 cents off this 30 cents off this. I am like well I cant just add this up did it take it off? Let me get my mananger. Manager with a major attitude comes up and is like well it took the $5 off $25, well my bill before tax is $40.05 and I want to use the $10 off $ 40. Manger's response. There is nothing I can do about it, this is how the register does it. So I am like well ok then can I add a couple more item to bring the balance up to $40 and then use my $10 off $ 40. No mam that is not how it works, you have to use the $5 off 25 then get $40 MORE in merchandise to use the $10 off $40, I am like that doesnt even make sense. She was ext remely rude which was uncalled for and said that 'THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT" We then I am not going to get the purchace if you cant honer the coupon, "ONCE AGAIN THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT HAVE A NICE DAY: REally that's how you want to treat your customers! You better get with the program because in today's economy people are trying tpo save every dime the can. Bet I wasnt the o ly one that leaves there as a ubhappy customer today. if that is the rule for the coupon, then DOLLAR GENERAL MADE A MAJOR MISTAKE by doing this, and if it is not DOLLAR GENERAL needs new management or at the very least one that knows how to resolve an issue, that should have been rwal simple, but she couldnt do it on the computer so she couldnt do it. And you shoukld never treat a customer that way and especially in fron of other customers, she may think it made her look like all that, but it did make her look low class. I left with nothing and she should be fired because obviousaly she is not fit for management! I will go out of my way not to go to that store again to be berraded by managemnt.

The female employee didn’t let me use my digital coupons for items even though they were added to my account. She named the coupon out and said I couldn’t use them ( i went to another dollar general and got the items I wanted with the digital coupon that I had added on the dollar general app with no issue) When I told The lady I’m not taking anything she said I know what you guys do and it isn’t allowed. I’m unsure what she meant by that if I was only using their app to scan items .
