I used to love coming here, as I have many times in the past, but today, will be the last time. We brought our disabled son in with us and needed to get a wheelchair for him - which by the way, are locked up. When asking Susanne at customer service why they’re locked up, she proceeded to tell us we had to give them our drivers license to hold on order to use it. I couldn’t wrap my head around as to why you have accommodations for the disabled locked up and only accessible if given their drivers license. I understand “theft” is a common issue, but denying a disabled person a right to these accommodations is a FEDERAL VIOLATION against the American Disability Act (ADA). It didn’t stop there, Susanne also thought it was appropriate to become loud and rude towards my family and I while in the store. My husband spoke up and told her we’re not going to stay there and get spoken to rudely. As we left, I called the manager on duty Stephanie and I explained to her that the store can’t do that, she explained that it was a theft issue. I understand the issue with theft, but AGAIN, as I tried to explain, you can’t do that legally, she proceeded to become rude about it and talk over me. I will be sending this complaint over to the Disability Rights of NC and also to HR, Home Office of this facility. I regret ever coming to this store and having our son discriminated against, while also being spoken poorly to.

At this store you can find anything and everything you need for your house. Decorations, glassware, dinnerware, accent furniture, candles, gifts, home decor, seasonal, wicker furniture, patio/beach furniture, rugs, wine, and much more. This place is huge.

When I come from Florida to visit family, this is the place I like to wander around in. There are so many exciting and interesting things to find whether or not you need it. Some prices are reasonable and if you catch the sales they are very reasonable. I'll be back again next year when I visit my family.

I would give this Potter zero stars if I could! Not only is the things much more expensive than the one in Wilmington NC or Greenville NC but customer service is terrible. I purchased two rolls of Christmas ribbon two weeks ago and specifically asked before I purchased if i could return it for a refund in a couple weeks if i could not use the ribbon and was told I could.I go today to return the never open ribbon and I was told because it was" Christmas" I could not return it! I asked if I could get a store gift card and again I was denied. I explained that a lady at the check out counter when I purchased the ribbon told me I could return it with a receiptThe lady at the customer service desk a few minutes ago today didn't answer my question and just started talking to the lady behind me.The ribbon could certainly be considered all season.Nineteen dollars wasted! Carolina Pottery will not get another dime from me again.
