I 100% recommend this place! We saw Dr. sweet this past Monday September 23rd for my 14.5 year old chihuahua as she started having sudden pain while sleeping. We did X-rays, bloodwork, exam and updated her bordetella. They prescribed meloxicam for her for 10 days. The following day she didn’t seem to be making any progress so I called and they were able to see me same day to recheck. They then gave us gabapentin for nighttime or twice a day if needed. Cookie is already doing better and I love that Dr. Sweet took my word for what is was and trusted me in knowing my dog. She gave great advice as well as possibilities as to why this was happening. Such great bedside manner and the tech and receptionists were just as good! Cookie only had one spark of pain last night and only 3 today, September 5th, whereas she was having 5-6 just overnight. I can’t thank the team more than enough for being amazing and overall fantastic. We will be back❤️ picture of Cookie resting peacefully tonight

I wish we actually lived locally so these amazing people could be our regular vets!! They were kind and thorough while we're on vacation and had to get our sweet dog Johnny checked out. They explained everything they were doing to our girls and took great care of Johnny... and the price point was really reasonable and appropriate. Again, we can't say enough how much we love this office!!

We always receive EXCELLENT service for our dog at Veterinary Hospital at the Lake. We would recommend their services for their specialty in theriogenology and primary veterinary care.

Dr Barber and Dr Rosenberg, plus their amazing team of vet techs, have been nothing short of amazing when it comes to the care and management of my breeding dogs. They have successfully guided us through two litters, one of which was not as straight forward and required a c section. They take the care of your dog very seriously and only want the best outcomes for each individual. I won’t be bringing my dogs to anyone else.

I can’t speak more highly of the vets and staff at Vet specialties at the Lake. They have cared for numerous girls of mine through breeding management and many many c-sections and their care and expertise is the best on all the Carolina’s for sure!! Just yesterday I think we had our 10th c-section with Drs. Barber and Rosenberg. This is the result! And a big shoutout to all their vet techs…they’re the best I’ve dealt with in 25 years!!!

They care for your pet like it was their own, most vets will treat medium and smaller dogs but they provide top quality care for my Great Dane as well love these folks

Poorly run business. Management is a disgrace to this community. Business has been bought out by Heartland and trying to resurrect a dying clientele with the wrong management and doctors.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My dog has seizures and twice they have failed to call in his medicine in at my request due to them “being busy”. We have taken both our dogs there for the last 8 years and word for word she said “this is above my pay grade” when asking to look into changing medicine due to my dog continuously having seizures. She can’t keep an employee there for longer than a few months. Every person acts like they are too busy to help when we have spent tens of thousands of dollars at her vet. Do not take your animals here, they cannot even keep up with their current clients. Absolutely the worst experience every time.
