I went into the bank to close an account. 2 days later it's still not closed, called the bank, no answer, voicemail full. What a joke Woodforest is!

No issues with the bank per se but had to wait for them to open up once because of staff calling out. Also the ATM needs a deposit feature. That would help alot.

So I've been with them for some time now and I was worried about it at first because of some of the things they do and how they do it but after being with them longer I have had no problems with this bank as much as I thought I would have. There are some great people that work there and every time I need to deposit it instantly goes into my account no wait or hesitations. I know a lot of people say it's a bad bank and everyone had their own opinion and their own experience but my experience is a million times better and I believe that everyone should give them a try and don't try to make privilege type moves with the bank just treat the bank like you normally would any other bank with love and respect

On 08/28/2021, Saturday. It supposed to closed at 4:00pm so I get there at 3:30pm. And it’s closed at 3:30 pm have to drive 20 minutes to deposit my check. I made on time but they were closed already. Then if you call the branch they won’t answer..

I've banked with Woodforest Bank for some time now. It has seem to have went a little down hill. Night deposits not credited to the next night at closing which puts me paying fees, there for a while they were never even open when they were suppose to be. And recently made a night deposit and was told that they didn't know when my account would be credited because there system is down. Called the main office to find out a time frame because I have bills coming through and they didn't even show my deposit. So that just made me worry more. 24 hours and I still have no idea where my deposit is. So dissatisfied.

J. Murphy needs to fix her customer service skills. When you have a customer standing in front of you look at them, interact with them. Not stand there and talk to your coworkers and cut paper instead of address the customer. You don’t need the counter job, you need a work at home or online job. You are horrible wit respect and customer service.

Love this bank they actually ANSWER the phone and help you. The other one in Forest City does not.

I would give negative stars, You have to jump through so many hoops just to get mobile banking set up but if you get a new phone you won't be able to log in. 100 or less in your account and they'll poor tax you into overdrafting. Closing my account as soon as I can and I suggest you stay away from this pos "bank". Thieves are more like it.

I have been with this bank for over 5years and every thing has been great up till the past 4 months seems like almost everytime I go to use my debit card at the register or the atm it gets declined when there is $500-$1500 sitting in the bank and yet they never can tell me why I can't have access to my money this bank is a joke
