The guy locked the door an hour early before closing, and then stood behind the counter, as I was trying to open the door and just stared at me instead of telling me that they were closed then walked away to the back. Some customer service!

I had the best experience at O'Reilly today that I've ever had. I was having starting problems with my truck. And I stopped at the store. A super guy that I believe was named Jay was working. He came out and checked it. Found the battery was bad. We went and got a battery and a new cable end. He came outside. Installed everything on truck and had me going in just a few minutes. He was awesome. Friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He absolutely made my day. Thank GOD that there are guys like him.

When I read the about this business statement that they will change out burned out bulbs on a car I became very skeptical! All of the auto chain stores in my hometown have stopped this practice because they claim there's the possibility of an electrical fire. I just called this particular store and the O'Reilly guy said if it was a simple change out , no problem! If it's complicated the answer is no. This guy was helpful and nice talking. Unfortunately, he asked me if it was a simple job or not and I told him that I don't know; I'm not that familiar with this work. He encouraged me to stop by and let them take a look. Initially this was going to be a three star review. Talking to this guy and his helpfulness got them an additional star!
