“This laundry mat is really convenient. It’s only about 6 minutes from my house, they have air hockey, pool table, foosball table, arcade games, and a little ride for the kids, plus vending machines. They have laundry cards you can put money on if you don’t have cash and only need to do a load or two. You can load this card and instead of getting a bunch of change you have a card that has the left over on it for next time. Pretty well maintained from what I can see as well. The girl that works there is really nice too. Her and her boyfriend helped me get my Yukon cooled off so I could get it home and the next time she saw me she asked about it. Also they close at 8:00 but if you’re there doing laundry dry they won’t close until you’re done.”

“Friendly staff at a family-owned company makes doing business with Folks pleasant and easy. I preferred the Boiling Springs location since it's so much closer to home, but that small location never recovered from COVID and recently had to close. The team at the main location in Shelby are friendly, nice, and always willing to help with whatever you need or answer any questions you have. Recently had an issue with a shirt that was ruined during the dry cleaning process. The owner called me personally, apologized for the mistake, and gave me the price I paid for the shirt when it was new so that I could replace it.”

“Fairly clean place and cheap prices. Has a big flat screen TV, places to sit and vending machines. Lady that works the front desk. Change machine accepts $20 bills.”
