Visited the location at the mall and was interested in a Bulova women’s watch. I asked an associate could I see it so I could see if it was the Marine Star I wanted. First, it took her while to get the key so I could see it. She then attempted to show me another one and I said no ma’am the one behind that one. When she did take it out of the case, she unfolded the price tag and proceeded to tell me how much it was instead of explaining me the product. I advised her I was well aware of the price because I know exactly what I wanted. The associates need training in customer service.

Beyond disappointed. We will never do business with Kay's again.I ordered a new Movado men's watch for near $1,000 online. It arrived and immediately it was clear that it was a pre-owned/used watch that they sent for me. It nearly fell out of the box when the sales associate opened it, covered in smudge marks and scratches, and looked worn. I refused the watch and they credited back my new Kay's credit card I've just cut up.The quality control and inspection process is non-existent. Beware of the jewelry you get. Inspect it well. This would have been my 4th movado and could tell right away it was used.This review is not a direct reflection of Angeline's interaction with me at the Shelby store. She was empathetic and helpful.

Falsely advertising on Google. They’re opening hours aren’t accurate. Their website also fails to mention that they only take trades in, if what you’re trading in was purchased there from the start.I don’t recommend them. One lady wasn’t hospitable, her verbal behavior fails to meet a proper expectation.

The ladies who helped me at Kay were SO kind. We had a terrible experience before and specifically Beverly at Kay made us feel very welcome. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in our decision making process.

Lori and Bobbie at Kay jewelers in Shelby North Carolina went over and beyond to meet the needs that I requested. I left the store, feeling discouraged, but then received a phone call to come back because they had found a solution to my problem. I was very impressed and grateful.
