I went in to see if they had openings for nails. The lady I spoke with was super sweet and tried to see if there was any possibility that the nail techs could help me out but they were booked. No problem. As I was leaving I decided to speak with the colorist to see if she could do what I needed and eventually scheduled an appointment. She was super sweet. At this point I had been in the business for over 15min talking with the employees. While in mid conversation with the colorist, an older lady came in and interrupted my conversation to ask questions about my service animal. Her demeanor and presentation of herself was condescending and invasively rude. First she asked me if my dog was a Service dog which is perfectly fine. When I answered Yes, he's labeled as a service dog, she responded with "Well people can just go online and buy them". I responded saying that I understood that but his gear is not "off the internet" as all his gear is custom made specifically for him. She then proceeded to tell me that she had to ask because if the health department came and there was a dog in the business that wasn't a "legitimate" service dog that she could get in trouble. I responded stating that I was aware of this. Then she starts with the attitude as she informs me that she's the owner of the business and she had a right to ask. As I began to respond, she cut me off to ask if I was really disabled. I responded yes but attempted to inform her that it was infact inappropriate for her to ask that but she walked away mid sentence.I feel so bad for the colorist as she was left with an upset customer and she wasn't really sure how to handle it. I thanked her for her time and left. After I had a chance to process what had just happened, I sent her a text and expressed that I wouldn't be patroning a business who would treat a disabled person that way but I was sorry that it would ultimately hurt her business and her money that she would have received from the appointment. However, I can not be in a place like that who would irresponsibly disregard human decency.

It had been over 6 years since Krista had done my hair because of moving out of state. Moved back and returned to her. She still had allow my info including the color and highlight. She did an amazing job. Could not have been any happier. It was like seeing a life long friend. Would highly recommend her.
