“I really love this place. There’s live music every weekend and the music varies from night to night. The bartenders are so friendly and get to know their customers.I’ve heard some of the best bluegrass here and some of the best Rock N’ Roll cover bands. I’ve also listened to music from original artists that should have a contract somewhere.Seriously, it might look like a dive bar on google, but this is a place where you can go experience some real music and a welcoming crowd.If you’re in town, don’t pass it up.There’s some real talent that passes through here.”

“Love our little community store. Carrying items we can always find to where we don't have to go all way out of town to get. They will go out of the way to get item's you suggest too. They sell local creamery A2 milk that only I can drink. Saving me miles and gas to not have to travel to the creamery for it.Got an Great selection of meat freshly cut too.”

“Aldi stores had my attention when they first came out. The stores were clean and selection of products was very good. I really liked the prices on their products. It just seems to me stores do this and start out lower in prices to get the customer and then jack the prices up to be just under the big name stores for their little stores. I choose quality over quantity anytime. When it comes to prices I want the best for my buck and I will continue to shop at my regular stores and save Aldi as a back up to my stores. I'm not saying anything is wrong with Aldi it's just not my main choice of stores. This is just my opinion and thank you.”

“Very clean and fully stocked. Found what I needed with ease. The only thing that made me a little upset. I grabbed something after I done made my purchase and was heading back to see if friend wanted it and she said no. So as we walking back. She was going to go out and I was going to put item back an employee stared at me the whole time. I'm not a thief and they shouldn't make it clear they are watching you to make sure you aren't stealing. That is not very nice to assume that someone is going to steal from them especially after they made a purchase.”

“I loved the food and the service was really great. They have almost everything at your convenience from grocery to beer, tobacco, etc. at a price that are competitive with the other stores. The food will have you licking your fingers and I have heard changes are comeing soon for the better. I will definitely be coming to get me fried chicken every couple of days and get some groceries as well!”

“I love my new local Dollar General! Ann and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful! Thankfully, it's not that far away. Right off Hwy 74 @ Plato Lee Rd. Shelves are normally stocked well, considering the pandemic has backed up everything! Ann was kind enough to let Eli hang a picture he colored right there at the front counter!Highly recommended! “A text from my wife with a shopping list, I stopped in here and picked up what she asked for. At the deli counter, a nice lady let me know that they were running behind and could I just give her the list of things I needed? That was nice and it gave me the opportunity to complete the rest of the shop. I returned and my sliced meats and cheeses were ready. Unwrapping them at home, they were as requested and good quality! The store is clean and tidy. Produce looks excellent. Fresh meats were a little higher but not unreasonable. I find cheaper at ALDI. [Review 16336 overall - 3145 in North Carolina - 1843 of 2021.]”

“Just came across this one today as I began a new Yelping tour. It's pleasantly well stocked and most of the merchandise is shelved. There was an abundance of milk and other dairy related items. There's plenty of cheese and sandwich meats to choose from. Honestly, I wish that all Dollar General's were in this kind of shape! Good Job on this one!”

“This was a much better D.G. than the last one I reviewed. All shelves were full and neatly stocked. There's absolutely nothing on the floor that could cause a tripping hazard. The store associates were busy and not standing around. There was a homeless person sitting out front who made me a little cautious. He was a good sized man and was eyeing me very hard. He didn't bother me. Just gave me the creeps!”

“I shopped at Dollar General on Polkville Road in Shelby yesterday and it was a great experience! Cornelius was very nice and welcoming when I came into the store and even asked if I needed want help. I also noticed how busy he stayed and worked hard. If we could have people like him working in places the world would be a little more pleasant! I just wanted to let this company know that they have a good one! Btw, the store looks great!”

“I honestly don't go to the Dollar general that much because I live near the Family Dollar. But when I do go they're always nice and stores always clean I just put four stars because it seems like I can't never find what I'm looking for and have to get help a lot.
