Sold us a broken ps5. We asked to see if it worked, they said no but they had a return policy if it didn't. Of course it didn't work. Bought a new one and brought theirs back, they refused to return it just repair it or replace it. It was a gift to someone so what was i going to do with it? Rude staff.

No one greeted me when I walked in, not even the owner, the heavy set black male happily texted away on his phone and I literally had to wait for him to finally lift his
Head and stand at the jewelry for 5 minutes until he finally asked from across the shop if I needed help… he had no knowledge on resizing nor had rings in order of ring size so it’s a guessing game and having to constantly ask can I try this ring, etc..

I had a relatively new air conditioning unit that I no longer needed and was outside of the return window where I had bought it. I wasn't sure if it was worth selling to Diamond Pawn or to some random stranger on the marketplace or on the street. To my surprise, I was given a VERY FAIR offer on the spot that made my day. I was able to meet a short-term financial need and appreciate knowing they are a family-owned business! I will definitely return before Christmas to utilize their layaway plan. I saw several high-quality items that caught my eye.Thank you, Diamond Pawn, for being fair and quick!

If I could give half a star I would. Tried to sell a Sony TV that was 2-3 years old and it was fairly new so they denied the deal. This is not the only time I’ve been there to sell something expensive that was only a year old or 2 years old. Wouldn’t recommend doing business with them.

This shop has an above average inventory with lots of great items but the problem is pretty much everything is priced through the roof! So high I didn't even bother trying to negotiate but who knows maybe they leave ALOT of wiggle room with prices but if not I'd say they will be holding on to most of thier items! And I sure hope they at least pay as good as they price stuff but I would assume they buy something then price it for 4x OR MORE what they pay.... But guess if you are lucky enough to be in the upper high class of Shelby with plenty of extra money lying around then you would probably love this place!

Don't go to Diamond Pawn in Shelby NC..... They practice illegal business tactics.... They took a $50 payment from me for a layaway guitar. Then they Claimed that they had not received my payment.... I then proceeded to show them the paypal transaction ... They saw but still denied itI then called paypal and the rep agreed that the payment had infact went trough but they still denied it....I waited a few days to give Diamond pawn a chance to change their tune... I asked the same guy if they had found my payment he immediately started stuttering shift illy and again told me no....So now Im having to dispute the payment instead of sueing them because I cant afford to sue over $50...So yeah Diamond Pawn Gets away with basically robbing me... Is this fair what did I do to deserve that....
