We found a vehicle, 2013 Ford Edge, on Facebook Marketplace. We contacted Steve Brackett, made an appointment to come test drive. Drove the vehicle, Steve was pretty knowledgeable about it, and we decided to move forward. Get in the office, Steve draws up the deal. The car was listed at $4900, they said there were others interested so they wouldn’t negotiate. We still continued forward. Then, with shock and surprise and NO previous mention on FB or by the salesman, he came back with the $999 doc fee added to the total. Tax and all made it $6200…big difference from 4900 plus tax, tag etc. I again offered a negotiated price at $5500 out the door, to which I heard the “Oz” styled wizard behind the big desk say “ tell them thank you and have a nice day”. At this point we’re 10 days away from sending our son to college, we’re having a really hard time finding a vehicle in our budget, and then we’ve got this guy playing hardball with us, all the while joking with another over zealous salesman about how much they sold that day. We purchased the car anyway, totally emptying our account and leaving nothing for the next big event in our life the following week, sending our son to school. So, at this point, I would recommend Steve Brackett, our salesman, to anyone looking for a good car buying experience, however, I would not recommend this dealership until the POST on their site, on FB Marketplace, and visibly in the store that there is a $999 NON-NEGOTIABLE doc fee. Anyone buying a vehicle should know first hand that they will pay an extra GRAND when they decide to buy from these people.

I wish I could give this company negative stars, but unfortunately that isn't an option. I cannot deter individuals away from this dealership quick enough, or Ford in general. We had an appointment to get our 2020 escape put in the shop to have the radio and battery looked at because I was having some minor issues, we dropped the vehicle off on July 24th. While in the shop, they wanted to replace a few recalls on the vehicle, which is fine, no big deal there... aside from the fact that it is now September and were still unable to get a time frame on when our vehicle will be returned to us, we keep being told that parts are on backorder and no one can tell us when we will be getting our car back. Our car is still under factory and extended factory warranty and we were told when we purchased the car, that if it ever needed to go into the shop, we would be given a rental car. We have had to call repeatedly to inquire about a rental car now, and we were told a request was put in for one but that we would only be permitted to use it for 10 days, that if we chose to use it longer than that we would be responsible for the charges and could possibly apply to be reimbursed.. they cannot tell us even an estimated date on when our car will be ready and We can't have the car back until the part arrives and its fixed. So now we are spending 100$ a week in gas in our back up truck (we bought the car to save on gas mileage due to our daily commutes) and thank God we have one or we would really be screwed. Plus were still having to make our monthly 600$ payments on the car and extended warranty and collision on a car that were not even sure when were going to get it back.
Believe me, I understand that there are things that happen and sometimes they're uncontrollable but this is not that. If ford manufactures a bunch of cars that need recalls that they cant accommodate, that seems like a FORD issue, not an issue for the consumer that is already paying. If you can continue to mass produce new bullshit cars, you should have to be responsible for fixing the ones you've already made that customers are already paying for. And if you aren't able to do that, you should at the very least make sure the customer has a rental car to drive considering they don't get to be delayed on making those "new car payments". This is beyond ridiculous.

My car was repaired, however there was tons of overspray from the paint on my windows. I had some damage to a rim that was not repaired. Someone stole all of my spare change and went through the inside of my vehicle. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed and won't be recommending classic Ford to anyone for repairs.

Jessica is the best. I am always happy to deal with her. Best customer service received by me in a car dealer. She’s absolutely wonderful, when you go there, make sure to ask for her.

I would have to say that after many car purchases for over 30 years, this has to be the worst dealer experience I’ve ever encountered. I drove an hour away to look at previous model year, but “new” F150 that had a respectable advertised price. After a pleasant test drive with Jonathan Clark, I was presented with a price that was over the original MSRP of the vehicle back in 2023. I’m very experienced in the purchase process, trade in values, financing, etc.so there is nothing that I am ignoring. I was met by a very passive-aggressive management team including the GM that had every justification of the price as possible and made me feel as if I was being unreasonable. The GM met me in the parking lot and came up with what I thought might be a reasonable price, but after my horrible experience and money that I didn’t want to spend on a car that was almost two model years old I decided to leave.
I proceeded to travel to Huntersville Ford a couple of days later and purchased a brand new 2024 F150 with similar specs and huge discount. I was greeted by a staff there that was friendly, courteous and went above and beyond to make me happy and I’m so glad that I did.
