Had a weird issue with a 2015 chevy Malibu that has been going on for months, took to another dealership and they could not figure it out, took to Marburger chevy and they got it fixed. Easy to deal with and fair Labor price compared to other dealers. Everything was neat and clean and everyone seemed happy to be there which isn't the case at most places now a days. Definitely will use again if the need arises. Thank you!

This is not owned by Carter anymore! Came up for an oil change and tire rotation. Asked about replacing my airfilter also they didn't do both in cab and engine. Informed them my running light was not working and that she said it's working now. By far the worst Chevrolet dealership I've ever been to and I've been to dealerships from Florida to California, North Carolina, South Carolina by far Marburger is the worst there is $140 to literally change the truck from four-wheel-drive to 2 Wheel Drive(literally what the paper says) and say it drove just fine when asked did the lights work she her name is (Katie)replied they work now young gentleman pulls up with it the sales department and guess what is not working $279 for an oil change and 3 point inspection, which they clearly didn't do and Wyatt the new manager terrible doesn't even know what he's talking about. Also the gentleman (Brian)that pulled it around I didn't ask him to he insisted and I'm grateful he did or I wouldn't have seen it until no one was there. Brian from sales department was the most helpful and informative person I talked to at that place. Do not take your vehicle here!

Tim did a great job in touring the vehicle and answering all our questions. He was totally familiar with the Nissan truck we were looking at, even though it is a Chevy dealership. And he was very knowledgeable about the whole process of buying the truck. He was personable and took our questions easily. We are very happy with not just Tim but also the dealership. Matt, the General Manager took the time to introduce himself. Brandy took our initial call and set us up to see the truck. Dustin made the transfer process painless and quick. All of those we met sincerely thanked us for our business. Great bunch of people with whom to do business.

Extreamly knowledge about the products they sell. Very easy to work with. Great altitude. The amount of stock they have is very surprising. They have more then some larger dealers.

It is very rare for me to give a business a one star rating. I try to give businesses the benefit of doubt and even second and third chances. But that is not the case with this dealership. When business's start to believe that customers needs them more than " their needing the customer", a bad paradigm shift has taken place. In short, I was excited about a specific vehicle this dealer had on the lot. I filled out an online customer contact form and was promptly contacted by a sales person. The sales man was was not particularly cordial, but generally factual and direct. I confirmed the availability of the vehicle I was interested in. I then inquired about my sending info and pics on a rarely driven, garage kept vehicle for trade in value. The salesman was insistent that I bring the vehicle in to obtain trade in value. Its well over an hour drive to reach the dealer from my home. And given "Covid times" every business I have been in touch with has been very accommodating in outlining and respecting contactless protocols. Carter Chevrolet did not get the memo on this interface option. It was obvious in the tone and tenor of the salesperson. Bottom line, i'm not driving 1.5 hours on I-85 to get a probable low ball offer on the trade quote for a 12 year old vehicle. I forwarded nearly 20 pics of the possible trade in vehicle along with the VIN number and a few added notes like mileage, etc, I got a phone call from the salesperson later that day with a ridiculously low trade value offer. Additionally, the salesperson tells me that my stated mileage does not align with a carfax report ran by the dealer. I figured this could be easily addressed by sending a picture of the odometer to the dealer. I took the pic and promptly sent it. The salesperson calls me an hour later and says "Your odometer does not align with the carfax report. It must have been rolled back". I'm thinking "Are you F-ing serious"!! There is a difference in 7k miles and these guys are accusing me of rolling back an odometer on a 12 year old vehicle. I let them know that I was offended by the trade in value offered and horrified by their accepting some carfax report over my picture submittal of the actual odometer. Who rolls back odometers? And whoever takes on such a ridiculous task, probably does not roll them back by just 7,000 miles. Their report read 80,000 miles, but actual miles are 73,300, as reflected in my pic. There was some mix up somewhere. When I forwarded them a pic of the actual odometer, I sincerely thought they would value customer documentation over some report that is obviously in error. But their response; "You apparently rolled back the odometer at some point". Unbelievable!! The salesman detected my dismay and reached out to the GM. At this point, I had no interest in purchasing a vehicle from these folks.. If this is what you get before the sale, imagine what you get following. In any case, I got a text from the GM basically stating, ,..... "You didn't bring the vehicle in for review, The salesman is a nice person. Here's the carfax report. It reads 80k miles. You need to take any issue you have up with your local DMV, not us. We hope you find a dealer closer to your location". Paraphrasing, but true! You can't make this stuff up. I promptly sent the GM my perspectives on placing customers first along with key lessons to consider moving forward. He responded, "We don't need your lessons". My final response "You've already got'em" Draw you own conclusions.

We recently traded in my X3 on a 2021 Tahoe. I had been searching for about a month for specific things and I finally found one at Carter. My husband dealt with Katie (salesman) throughout the buying experience as well as Kam. I literally cannot say enough GREAT things about Katie. She did wonderful working with my husband and has been a pleasure dealing with after the deal was done.Chris Greene is rude to employees and customers (when an employee tries to introduce you to a customer - you shouldn't throw your hands up saying "I'm not here!") Kam was nice to my husband but apparently his demeanor changes when speaking to women. After purchasing an expensive car from them, I attempted to order floor mats through Chevrolets website. The cargo mat could not be shipped to my home address and the closest pick up location for dealerships was Lincolnton. My husband reached back out to Kam who said they could order them for us, no problem and they came with a $100 manufacturer rebate. (If I was ordering online it was a "GET20" [20% off coupon code] on a $250+ purchase) --the floor mats were a little over $400 (already absurd I am having to pay for these separately.) It took about a week for all the mats to come in. When I went to pick them up along with a tag holder for the front (+$36) I was told it would be an additional $25 to have that put on and would need to return later because they didn't have time as well as suddenly no one knowing what manufacturer rebate I was referring to. Mrs. Carter (super nice) said she would check. That is when Kam decided to come and stand super close to my face to let me know "you must have misunderstood because that's not what I said" I explained the rebate and was asked to then prove what I was saying. Pulled up Chevrolets website, added all things to my cart, found the discount code and added that back in to show everyone that it does in fact say 20% off your purchase. I was told that was an online deal only (although they had to order the mats online because they didn't have them) Finally, Tammy (office manager) came by and fixed the entire issue and just took 20% off of my order, no problem. Ryan in the service department also has excellent customer service. So thank you to Katie, Tammy, Mrs. Carter & Ryan - y'all are WONDERFUL. Kam - you should probably find a job not working with the public because you literally suck. Adding in that Carter & Destinee are also wonderful.

I tried calling the service department for a simple question only to have the phone ring constantly without anyone ever picking it up. If your techs can't operate a phone, I'm not trusting them with working on my vehicle.

We had an excellent experience purchasing a truck for our business. Jennine was so helpful with the whole process. We are on the west coast and she made sure to keep us informed of every step, even going so far as to send us pictures and video of the truck being loaded for shipment.

Over the years, I have bought over 20 trucks and cars from Carter's. Their price is good and their service is great. I highly recommend Carter Chevrolet.

This is the only locally owned dealership in town. It's always great to support local business and the owner, service team, sales, and marketing staff have always been extremely helpful to work with.

You will not find better people to deal with whether you're purchasing a car or getting your car serviced. Our family and business have purchased 11 vehicles from Carter Chevrolet over the last 30 years and can honestly say we've never had 1 complaint.
