They are more interested in bank fees than keeping customers. $35.00 annual rent was due on a safety deposit box but the owner had passed away and we couldn't get in until the clerk of court said so. The fee was due the end of June and we had no need for the box. We were finally able to empty the box the first week in Sept. Still had to pay the 35.00 rental even though we surrendered the box. Needless to say I closed the accounts with them and will not be bringing my accounts from Wells Fargo. I only lost $35.00 but they lost much more than that.

This is an "Extraordinary" known Truth now being suppressed?????????????????Stop Must Read:First National Bank - Bank of OZARK - Bank OZK.Historical First National Bank at 106 S. Lafayette St Shelby NC was sold to former Shelby -Crest High School 90'/91' graduate Towery "Tyree" Maurice Burris-Hunt following his reception of several publicly announced Trusts & Estate Wills in mid 2013. Acquiring billions in assets. This was recognized by County Elected officials, Chamber of Commerce, NC State Secretary Elaine Marshall, NCDOI Commissioners Goodwin & Causey. The staff at the bank remained the same very little changed. This inspired his acquisition of several more banks in the coming months in Dunn NC, Atlanta GA, St.Peters FL, Ark- AR, Texas, New York etc. Leading to the Founding of Bank of OZARK. He and advisors debated over headquarters Shelby or Northgate Plaza area of Rogers AR. Instead the bank was headquartered in a building he owned at 17901 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, AR 72223. This coincided with OZARK name being established...The bank was privately owned but held an enormous amount of assets. The bank swiftly went publicly. Due to prior engagements abroad & health issues Mr. Burris-Hunt withdrew from the public eye.Bank of OZK is a legitimate bank, employees are well trained, professional & courteous!

The check I needed to deposit using mobile banking was $3 over some limit they set. Drove 40 minutes to this branch to deposit it using the ATM. Guess what? Only bank in America that doesn't even have an option to deposit on their ATM. Took off work to drive there AGAIN during their non-accommodating business hours, only to have to wait outside til they unlock the door for one customer at a time. It's been over a year! Time to stop using Covid as an excuse not to service your customers. I CAN go elsewhere

Hometown bank with great feel. Comperive rates. Its local knowledge that the Bank was previously First National Bank until Towery Maurice Burris received a multi billion dollar trust and inheritance in 2013. Publicly announced as beneficiary grandson of billionaire Johnny Bryan Hunt founder of J.B Hunt Transportation Ark. Who had millions in assets in the Bank bequeathed to Towery who purchased First National. Merging it with another bank naming it Bank of OZARK. Keeping the existing staff. 100% truth
