They could use more weight plates. I think they only have three 2.5 pound plates. I have to spend too much time in between sets walking around looking for the plates I need. Other than that, it's a great gym.

Childcare at this location is a joke. They left my 7 month old in his car seat for my whole 45 min work out. This is death risk. The worker seemed uninterested in being there but more attentive to the older toddlers. I brought this up to worker upon leaving and they struggled me off. Mentioned it again on their Facebook page and at first they ignored my comment and deleted it. Finally got them respond back about it after I called them out for deleting my comment. Only to be questioned if I was even in their system. They asked for time and date to see if it possibly happened. Seriously wtf. Why would I lie? Never got any resolution or serious concern about it. I love the porters neck location but this one isn't it. Not only the child care is negligent, the space is small and outdated. There's no extra room unless a class isn't going on. Ans the machines have seen better days by far.

Worst gym I've ever been apart of. Kept charging my account multiple times for "member fees" til I finally had enough and just cancelled. Even after I cancelled they still kept trying to charge me and ended up going to collections so had to deal with that as well. This all happened back in 2019. Also hearing they treat their employees like crap and don't pay them within a reasonable amount of time. Thank God we have a Planet Fitness in the area now!! WAY better gym and services for a much better price!

Tru fit has been an amazing gym for my husband and I since we started our membership about six months ago. We wanted a gym with a couples membership option that allowed for me to use the smaller machines and equipment as well as allowed him to use free weights. Other gyms in the area are one or the other. The staff here are always welcoming, knowledgeable, and are always cleaning or doing something to better the gym as a whole. They know us by name when we walk in and never feel judged. We have not partaken in personal training, but I see the sessions and don’t have a single bad thing to say in regards to customer service and the options tru fit offers.

It absolutely pains me to write this however with the extreme lack of professionalism's displayed by the young man at the front desk-Terrel-and the lack of business tact by the owner Mohammed, they leave me no choice.I just arrived in town yesterday as I am relocating to the area from Arizona. I saw this gym was 24hrs and stopped in to see what I could do to workout tomorrow, Christmas Day.the young man and the owner stated unless I was willing to pay for a years membership and then cancel it the day after Christmas they would NOT let me train.The fitness community is one that should promote health and fitness along with supporting others who want to engage in that lifestyle. This gym‘s core values are clearly not about that-it appears they are only about making money.Planet Fitness is directly next door and is a much better option than TruFit Gym in my opinion. I am all about supporting local business however, when they are only about making money, not uplifting the community, and have no clue about how to handle appropriate customer service, interest is lost.I’m sharing my story in hopes that you will not support this gym due to its values and complete lack of doing what’s right.

Driving through the area stopped for a workout.Great Gym compared to its next door neighbor, planet fitness.Much better value! Management understands the value of customer service!
