“I never knew about this place till I moved to Charleston for a bit I love the big ones but this place is cute and they have all kinds of stuff and I have no complaints”
9AM - 9PM
4607 Main St, Shallotte“It's so much better than the one in my city. No buckets on the floor to catch water from the ceiling. I drove 35 minutes to Shallotte because the selection is better, period.”
“Had a wide selection of prepaid mobile phone refill cards. Appeared to have every carrier. Except T-mobile, the one I volunteered to pick up for a neighbor. But an employee, Jill, was very helpful, coming from the register to help me look, hoping i had overlooked it.”
“The ladies were nice as always, asked if I needed help and If I was ready to check out. Store was mostly clean besides a few uboats being worked (understandable.) Overall pleasant experience.”
“This particular dollar general is nice. They have the typical items that anyone and everyone can use in the household.Everything from grocery items to floor cleaning items to animal food and treatments.I like Dollar General. They are in pretty much all major town and cities and you can expect the same or similar experiences and items.”
“What can I say? It's Big lots! There's always an odd smell in this store. I remember when it used to be a food Lion. But the place has been around for a very very long time. Other than that, the staff is always very helpful, and seems for the most part to be pleasant to the customers who come in and out. Out. There's always a various amount of items to purchase at a very good price. They seem to carry the higher end items that have been picked up and they're large box form of sales that they do. You can always find the higher-end items that lower end prices at Big lots. And I for one like to go through their spice aisle, because I tend to find some hard to find other spices there. Also, I enjoy stopping through the coffee section. They have a large array of different coffee items such as syrups and of course copies and creamers. Not really a big gluten-free area, but there are gluten-free items in the store. Low budget electronics. And some crafting areas in the back. The furniture sells area is probably one of the largest items most people associate big lots with. You. Can buy some low in furniture at decent prices there that seem to last a few years. I personally have some in my living room lol and all those some of it has not weathered well. The newer items that I have seem to be doing pretty good. Stay away from the pleather products because they do tend to break apart and turn in to mess. Overall I say enjoy your experience”
