“Home Depot in Shallotte. I’ve recently moved to the area and have never experienced a Home Depot like the one in Shallotte. I’m made to feel like I’m in a local hardware store - I know the names of employees (Stephanie, Connor) who go out of their way to make you feel like a special customer. Stephanie in particular (sold me washer, dryer and refrigerator) goes above and beyond to engage, guide and advise. And does so in a way that’s very conversational and unrushed.

I’ve been to many Home Depot stores in Massachusetts (my old home state) and I don’t remember much about them except that they are big and unfriendly places.

“The teamwork and attitude of this store was the best I've ever experienced. Scott Burton was incredible. He was helping me and I had no idea he was the store manager. His team were all so helpful and accommodating. I've shopped at Home Depot for 40 years and never had this experience.”
