The backdrop that you will get if you shoot your special day here, is second to none. Beautiful golf courses, greenery, wildlife, and mountains all around. Makes shooting your wedding day portraits so much easier. If you are newly engaged, consider having your wedding here!”
“Beech Mountain as a whole is a very underrated Fall Foliage destination! We were in awe of its beauty, which is totally comparable to that of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.”

608 Beech Mountain Pkwy, Beech Mountain“It felt very comfortable and it has a very "mid-cenrury" vibe which we appreciated for the fact that it was not by design, just a reflection of the era it was built. The nostalgia of being emerced in the decade of our childhood (we being Gen X's)gave way to the obvious lack of updating the decor. However; if you're going on vacation to sit in a hotel go elsewhere, because this was a clean, economic and generous sized 2 room w/2 bathroom hotel, perfect for a family that is all about..."WHAT ADVENTURE LIES OUTSIDE THE HOTEL DOOR?" As it should be! I have no problem recommending it for a perfect place to plan your next N.C. adventure.”

1615 Tynecastle Hwy, Banner Elk“Great location and super friendly staff.
We loved the dog friendly environment and treats for our pup.
Nearby activities: We went to Elk Falls, Beech Mountain and hiked along the Blue Ridge Parkway
Food & drinks: Super handy to downtown Banner Elk and the Vietnamese restaurant across the street....great wings!”
“The inn was good. Front desk was friendly. Not many people around. Very secluded. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Biggest complaint was the noise. The people above us were so loud. The beds were okay.”
“I haven’t stayed in a motel since I was a kid 40+ years ago. Our family with 3 kids went to Hidden Valley and it was better than most hotels at least twice the price. The room was comfortable and spacious. When one of my kids spilled crumbs all over the floor, I asked Jim for the vacuum and he gave it to me so I could quickly clean it up. The evening of the day we checked out, Jim sent me an email to let me know they found my son’s air pods case he lost under the bed and offered to ship to me. Hidden Valley is a great option if you’re looking for a place to stay in Boone. We will go again.
Rooms: The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The beds are impeccable. The heater works great, even on a cold night.”
