Pam and William are the best! I have been fortunate to purchase several vases from them over the years during NC State Fair. Their pottery is absolutely gorgeous and every piece is truly one of a kind because of how the crystals bloom during the firing process.
Pam and William made a custom coffee mug for me with a larger handle. One of our visits to the Village of yesteryear Pam took time to explain the pottery process to my daughter who was taking pottery classes at the time. That time and effort will always be appreciated I look forward to expanding my collection of their amazing work!

There truly are not enough words to accurately depict how much I love and adore this shop. I had the pleasure of visiting this year and have kept up ever since. As soon as you walk through the doors, you're greeted with genuine kindness. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to see the works in progress up close. Both owners answered my (many, many) questions and entertained all the curiosity I had. Not only are the pottery pieces beautiful, but the process behind them is beyond fascinating. There is so much to learn and I enjoyed every second of my trip to UCP. Any trip to NC will 100% include a trip here. Guaranteed. No question about it.

I have a beautiful vase and two coffee mugs. All three are beautiful, but I especially enjoy using the coffee mugs. When we visited the gallery, it was fun to talk to the owners about their process and they were both gracious and kind.

I absolutely enjoy everything about uwharrie crystalline pottery. The owners are so pleasant & their work is just so beautiful. Any piece that you get would definitely light up the darkest area. 11/10

Uwharrie Crystalline Pottery uses zinc crystals in their glazes, which grow during the firing process. Each piece is truly unique. I have never seen this style before, but my husband and I instantly fell in love with it when we saw a display sample at the museum in Seagrove while visiting for our 9th wedding anniversary (traditional gift is pottery☺️). We just had to check out their shop. Pam is super friendly and informative. She explained the process because I was simply curious. She worked me (even via text!) to come up with the perfect anniversary vase to hold my wedding bouquet. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The work is so, so lovely. There's nothing like their handcrafted crystalline pottery.

I met the lovely owners at the Village of Yesteryear at the NC State Fair. They have some of the most beautiful crystalline glazes that I have ever seen! I love my pottery from them.❤️

Absolutely loved the natural vibe of this pottery shop. They grow crystals in their pottery and it's gorgeous! I bought a planter and 4 mugs. All are beautiful pieces of art!
