“The store is great. My girls like to go to see all the animals. However, at our last visit, we wanted to check out one of the pups they had for sale. I went to find someone to help us and one young lady that worked there was talking with another couple. I waited a few minutes and noticed that they were friends and just carrying on a conversation. I THOUGHT I was in a location that let her know if needed her assistance, but she just kept on with her conversation. After waiting a few more mins, I interrupted her convo politely and asked to see one of the dogs. I heard her sigh and told her friend that she would be right back. Never once did she look at me or even say anything to me. She is a young girl and I understand her need to have a social life, but if you are working at a store, carrying on a 30 min convo while customers needed help is not very good customer service.”

“One of the smallest petsmarts I've been to, but I'm here out of town on a visit with some friends and needed some prescription dog food. I was presently surprised that they had it and that the staff was very nice and considerate.”

“Sarah was fantastic. She helped me find exactly what I needed to help with my dogs shedding and odor. She even helped me find a healthy treat for my dogs. The service was fast and Susan was an excellent cashier. They were all very patient with my curious young children. The store is kept very clean and stocked.”

“It is quite saddening to read the bad reviews on this rescue. I would just love to say that the reason these people are talking negatively is because they were DENIED! For rehoming or not providing vet care or having outside animals, etc. Their pride was hurt so they want to put an amazing rescue down. They do deny if they are not a perfect candidate for that specific animal. Want to know why? Because they care so deeply about them and will NOT set them up for failure. “Just let them try even if they will be returned.” NO. People in good rescues would rather their dogs/cats be there for years than be returned. That is unneeded trauma and confusion for the animal. Returns happen sometimes, yes but if they can avoid it, of course they will. “They got upset when we tried to go near the dog door”. I have adopted a dog from here and there is a sign with big bold letters letting you know not to go back there. The dogs do meet and greets in the yard or the meeting rooms to avoid unneeded stress of people they do not know, walking in their space. How would you feel if someone just walked into your house that you did not know? Pretty freaked out, no? “They are hoarding their animals”. Have you ever been to a hoarding house? They are the exact opposite of hoarding. These animals are treated so well and they may stay awhile but that’s literally the point of a rescue. They stay in a safe, loving place until an AMAZING family comes forward. You are not entitled to an animal. You were denied for a reason. Go to a kill shelter and save an animal that may be euthanized due to space. They don’t have many or any requirements at all. Please have a nice day. Also, I am not employed at this rescue. I have adopted here and I worked in rescue before and know a lot about it and can see right through everyone’s complaints. I had an amazing experience here. The staff is extremely loving and kind. Please don’t lie about a rescue just because you were denied.”
