VERY good grocery store! My parents and I absolutely HATE the Pittsboro Food Lion. The Sanford one is better than Pittsboro one. It's always easy to find stuff at this one, and they have very nice employees at this one. If you are looking for a Food Lion in the area, this is the one.

What can you say, its a Grocery Store. Recently renovated. Clean and organized. We go 4 times a year when visiting my family. Cannot get Bass (Brand) Sausage in Florida! Plan to go again and again. Thank you.

As a former cashier/retail associate/manager I get so upset with the lack of customer service provided. There were plenty of registers off only one express and one was full service. It is imperative to anticipate the guests need. There were 3-4 other cashiers engaging in conversation at the self check out area. TWO other customers and I were debating on what line we should use to check out. I understand the self check out was available but what makes me upset is the fact that as a paid employee you shouldn’t wait to go to the register to start checking people and start herding them like cattle to come to the register. Had employees been where they were supposed to people wouldn’t be confused trying to beat the other person to the register making it an awkward situation. I personally don’t like self check out unless you provide me a discount for doing a cashiers job. It’s just truly frustrating.

For the 4th week in a row, Coke products are almost twice as expensive as Pepsi products, and I refuse to pay that much more. The next time I find this, I’m going to leave the store and go to Lowes Foods.

They have green grapes for $1.49 and bananas 39 cent per lb great prices. The meat counter is full of good looking meats.

Always a great selection, by far the best prices around and their fresh food section is divine. Chicken wings, Chinese food, and sides, plenty to choose from. Staff is also always friendly:)
