For weeks they have had no air conditioning. For months they’ve been struggling with keeping their refrigerated units going. This all comes down to nothing but corporate greed. They should listen to their employees and not just rely on customer communications. This has been an ongoing issue that is out of the employees hands. These people are risking their general well being to be able to serve the community when there are not many other resources available. Not only is this an issue for the employees, but a huge issue for the customers in this community who are elderly by majority. It is so hot inside the store that the candy is all melted!

Need to fix Dollar general store in sandy ridge NC. Ac been broke in the 90 deg weather for 2 weeks now they don’t care about the employees or customers since the family dollar across the street went out there is no need to care I will drive to another town now to shop same with a few others I talked too. Their refrigerator section is down and part of the freezer section what a joke!

Desperate times call for desperate measures....convenient location since there's nowhere else in Sandy Ridge to shop. The cashier was friendly, but the store was junky and there are expired items on the shelves available for purchase. For example, I purchased an edible item on Saturday 4.09.22 that has an expiration date of December 2021.

Typical Dollar General. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Easily accessible with plenty of parking. Everything you need from toiletries, shirts, crossword puzzles, balloons or just a drink and a candy bar. Public bathroom, just ask for the key. Tight isles from all the stock. Staff may be busy and not at the check out, just grunt out or cough loudly and someone will come help.
