I had some work stuff shipped to me while on vacation in this great town. One thing didn’t show up and these ladies were amazing. The postmaster came in on her day off on a Sunday to see if it came it. It showed up after I left and she went above and way beyond to make sure this was handled. Never had an experience like this with the post office. There are still good people out there that care about their work.

I use the Saluda, NC post office. They are always very helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make every thing go easier for me when I need help. The office is always clean! One of the reasons I love Saluda!

We have no issue with the post office itself. Just the mail carrier. When we moved in and installed our box, we were told that the mail carrier would not drive more than. 5 miles from the road to deliver a package. We are. 3 miles from the road. This lazy person WILL NOT drive. 3 miles to deliver a package. We both work and cannot get to the post office during their open hours, which is what the notice she leaves says to go pick it up. My question, why am I paying for delivery to my home when I have to go pick it up? And what about the famous post office motto?? Last time this happened it was a box of medical supplies for my elderly mother that took over a week longer to receive due to her not delivering. VERY aggravated.

I’ve been in several times and had very good experiences. Maybe not their fault but I mailed a package from there to CA. And someone opened it along the way, resealed the box and finished sending the empty package. It was an anniversary gift. It was insured for 100.00 but they make it impossible to fill out the form and collect it.

The people who work here are a joke including the post master. After moving into our new home and placing our mailbox on our side of the road on our property, we were told told by Terry that the mailbox was on the wrong side of the road and she refused to deliver mail to the box. So let me get this straight, you want me to move my mailbox across the street on another person’s property just because it’s an inconvenience for your carrier (Terry)? Heaven forbid we inconvenience the almighty postal service worker! {insert eye roll here}. I do want to think you though for informing me that you’re holding my mail because the box isn’t in a spot suitable for y’all even though there is a box there. I have taken the time to take that bit of information way above your heads and I plan to pursue it until something is done.

I ordered a 400$ package early September that has been in saluda for days now and they said they couldn't deliver due to dog interference even tho they have both been to obedience school are no where close to the mailbox they have been there for over ten years and will stay in the yard there is nowhere else to put them and they won't deliver my package due to animal interference even tho there both wearing invisible fence collers and both have been out there whole life and are the best behaved dogs around so my question is will I ever get my 400$ package 18 days later or did the postal service rob me because that's what it seems like they tell me in my tracking info they bring it to my home and then send me an animal interference message they have been there every day that you have delivered my mail but now theres dog interference even tho we have had the same dogs ten years how can I get my package did I just get robbed they were supposed to be delivered September 13th my truck is broke and I cannot work without those parts you are taking food out of my family's mouth you need a new job if you can't do yours

I think every business should have a Yelp page. We stopped by to mail out a package. I tried checking in but no page for them, so I had to do it :) My husband ran in he said the lady was friendly . What more can you say other than for being a small town it was a very busy post office. You never know when you may need a post office.

Most of the Staff are present and friendly. Mail carriers are about the national average in delivering mail on time. Management is below average in handling complaints and concerns about post office and carriers.
