Susan and Doug go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. They both were so accommodating the camp was very clean and well maintained. I love this place and definitely recommend this place 10/10

I absolutely love staying here! The standard cottage is perfect for a small family escaping into the outdoors. The hosts are very kind and available to assist and provide excellent customer service. Whether it’s in the Summer and you’re tubing for the day or in the Fall, checking out the peak colors and staying overnight with a fire, this is a great establishment worth visiting anytime of the year!

We have found our favorite get away spot! We stayed in the cabins and the smaller clamping tents, 2 weeks apart! Just got home and booked our Feb trip! The campground hosts are some of the kindest, friendliest people…they remembered us as soon as we checked in. The bathrooms are warm and clean! Highly recommend!Rooms: Cabins and cottages were both clean and cozy!Nearby activities: Lots to do, also lots of quiet down timeSafety: Never worried about others on the property, the safety of our valuables or even bears!Walkability: So easy to get around on foot and the hiking/trails is amazing!

Such an unreal place to stay, close enough to downtown Saluda and even Hendersonville for day trips but we really enjoyed just staying on the grounds. We stayed in a glamping tent and it was absolutely perfect, beautiful area with great amenities. Very friendly staff, dog friendly which made our trip! Enjoyed the whole weekend start to finish we’ll be coming back ASAP!

I rented the RV 4 site to tent camp because I wanted to be on the water. There was a beautiful!! view of the river from the site, with the water running by as the perfect soundtrack. Although it was a little close to the 2 little river cottages, my 'neighbors' were friendly. It would be perfect for a group to rent both of the little cottages and the RV site (and I'm already scheming to do just that!) because there was enough flat space to put up two tents or back in an RV. The bath house was warm and clean (so key!!_ and the perfect touch after my hike (which I was able to access directly from the property). Nice helpful folks running the place too! I'll be back... thank you!

This campground is a hidden gem! The owner has created a unique campground with FHUs for campervans and the like, beautiful camping tents, and even a couple of campervan friendly sites on the Green River with electricity. They provide really good WiFi and Bathhouse was modern and soooo clean. The owner and the staff was kind and helpful and not at all intrusive. We will definitely be staying here again.

We have gone tubing at Wilderness Cove for the last 3 years. It's one of our annual summer goals. They are reliable and helpful. You can leave straight from the facility and take a 1 or 3 hour ride down the river with a bus pick up at the end. We've never had more than a 10 minute wait. The river is scenic and an easy ride with a few fun tube safe rapid spots and jumping off rocks and maybe even a rope swing. Do it! You won't regret it!

My kid (12) and I had a great experience here: 2 nights in tents and 2 in a River Cottage. The tent camping is not quite "roughing it": there's pretty reliable WiFi and the bath house is air conditioned and kept very clean. Moving to the cottage was meant to be easier in my kid, but I didn't expect all the amenities: refrigerator, screened in porch, and very comfy beds. The drive down the mountain is a little nerve-wracking for a city boy, and my car's low clearance had me scraping my underside on some rocky bumps inside the property, but that's just a heads-up, not a complaint. Would definitely go back!

I went river tubing. Great staff and friendly service. Easy check in and fast shuttle drop off and pick up. This is the best place on Green River to river tube with. I've been going here for years and they continue to provide excellent service and expand their campground and facilities. 10 out of 10!!

Visited Wilderness Cove for a girls weekend, and couldn’t have hoped for anything better! Accommodations are clean, we had a great view of the river, and Susan and Doug were so helpful and friendly. I can’t wait to go back. They have so many different types of lodging. Stayed in the guest house, but the everything was impressive! I’ll have to try the glamping next time! We also went tubing in the “mini cats” and it was awesome! Good rapids, tons of fun, and the coolest tube to travel down the river in!

I had the best experience at Wilderness Cove- we got to stay in the 3 bedroom cabin. The accommodations were lovely and perfect for our group. We cooked on the grill and used the kitchen, made s’mores on the campfire and had a wonderful meal in Saluda. I would highly recommend this campground- they have such a variety of options for whatever type of experience you’re looking for. There’s tubing and hiking on site - the tubing was excellent- we rented the cat which I thought was the best way to go down the Green River. The staff is so helpful and I appreciate all they did to make our visit memorable. I would definitely come back here again!!

We didn't stay at the campground but did the tubing adventure. It was nice to have an option of tubes to pick from and offered 2, 3, and 4 hour rentals. Staff were great and rental process was easy.

What a great place! The location was perfect, the set-up was amazing and all of the staff were wonderful. We arrived after hours, but the information left for us was easy to navigate. There was a TON of rain throughout the week and definitely left some muddy spots, but the staff were quick to take care of potential issues and help us in any way. We stayed in a glamping tent, which was the perfect blend of a step above primitive camping, but not feeling like were in a hotel room. We will definitely be back!
