Mary helped me pick out a couple of items for my bride that she absolutely loved. Its a great store with an extensive variety of gifts for every occasion and a warm, welcoming, helpful staff.

I’m local, and have been in the store several times and the staff never welcomes, or even bothers to speak when I walk in the store. Last time I was there, I was looked up and down and the staff carried on with their conversation. I won’t be back.

Heartwood is a cute little shop in Saluda NC. Everything in there is nice, artistic, woodsy. They have lots of cool translucent glass, jewelry, wooden kick knacks. It nearly loses a star because it's pretty pricey, but I gander it's mostly local artisans, very nice things, and niche market/culture.The place has been there forever, I even bought my sister a bracelet there when we were in high school many years ago. She still wears it more than 20 years later.

This store has a beautiful selection of handmade crafts and the customer service was wonderful. I bought a gift for my mom for her birthday and they wrapped it beautifully with dried flowers on top of the box!

Typical small mountain gift shop. Not really impressed. Staff wasn't very friendly.

Needing another small gift for my daughter, I stopped in. Was helped immediately and the staff was very patient while I looked over many of their suggestions. I purchased what my daughter called a 'Witches Ball'. She said it was beautiful! I thought the price was a little high but my friend told me that was about normal.
