i've been going to a fabulous hairstylist at Platinum Salon. her name is Candace Pendry, and she is extremely talented with color and style. She is a wonderful human being very inspirational, personable, and makes a great therapist. I highly recommend her to both women and men. Candace just don't get too busy that you can't fit me in please. Yvonne Goldman

I went to Dodie in January 2018 for my very first experience with color. She explained the process and helped me pick out colors that would compliment my existing shade. She was a joy to talk to and we had a lovely afternoon together. After the color treatment she gave me the best haircut I have ever had. I have really thick long hair. I like being able to pull it up at work when I get hot. She was able to thin it out some, add some texture, and I was left with the most versatile haircut I have ever had. I get lots of compliments on my hair now from our customers. I just went back to Dodie again this week for a trim. She worked her magic again on my hair! She has an amazing talent and I’m so thankful to her for taking me on as a client.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL salon with such talented and friendly stylists! Everyone here is independent, so you must look on website for phone numbers and contact the stylists individually. Voted creative loafings BOTB this year!

Okay. I've been to Platinum Salon three times now, and it took me this long to find out they have services other than hair styling and color. Each stylist, technician, etc., is independent, so you have to call them on their own phone line to make an appointment. I choose Dawn Demberger for hair! She's adorable, has a wonderful sense of humor, and takes the time to help figure out what you want. I, uh, had a very sore toe while I was there today for a cut and foil, so I asked Dawn if their other salon (4th Street North) offered pedicures. She said she wasn't sure, but said the MLK/9th Street salon (where I was) has them. Whooppie! One of the nail techs was available (rare occurrence, apparently), so I had a nice pedicure while my foil color set...good way to pass an otherwise boring time. My toe no longer hurts, I have shiny OPI nailpolish on each and every toe, and I am very happy. I certainly recommend this representative of Platinum Salon as well: Jennifer Yancey. Call the main number to obtain phone contact info for Dawn and/or Jennifer. By the way, the place offers skin care also ~ think I'll give that group a try too. For today, though, all I wanted to do (since the sun was finally out) was go to Cassis on Beach Drive NE, have lunch in the outside dining area, and let the gentle breezes flow through my new haircut and over my sparkling feet!
