Saran has done my daughters hair 3 times now and she is so loving and compassionate. And her braiding is beautiful and gentle. The salon is sanitary and welcoming.

Thess ladies are the best!Most reasonably priced and the place is spotless.The custom service is great and they really do make you feel comfortable.I cannot recommend this place enough!Go on in there and your hairrrrrrr did!You will not be disappointed.This is my new spot.I will most definitely be back!

I had the opportunity to visit this salon today and I enjoyed my visit. The salon was COVID - clean, reasonable priced and my knotless braids are on point. Sarah was very nice and even recommended the best way to braid my hair in the back because it's still short. I appreciate that!! She could of just taken my money

The Ladies at Saran's African Hair Braiding are nice and the salon was clean, but unfortunately I will not return to this establishment again. My hair was braided by two women on 9/12. Upon arrival, I showed a picture and indicated that I wanted medium size braids. I received medium size braids with small parts, which I did not want. Also, I mentioned upon completion that the braids were too heavy. Instead of attempting to resolve the problem, the stylists laugh, which was unprofessional and rude in my opinion. This is too much weight, particulary for my back. Also, I paid $180.00 for individuals braids and to later find out they had a $20.00 discount for first time customers. Again, I will not visit this salon again. I have enough extension on my hair for three people!

I'm so glad to have found this DMV braiding shop. Prices are very affordable. Saran's staff finished braiding my hair in under 5 hours and gave me the makeover that I've needed since this pandemic began. Covid-safety measures were being followed and the salon is neat and tidy. Recommend! Thanks ladies!

I had a photoshoot and wanted my hair braided for the aesthetic that I was going for. I like the fact that I could book an appointment online with availability and that the owner was able to answer any question or concern that I had. I showed her two pictures of hair inspiration and she was able to make my braids similar but something that fit me! Upon arrival, I instantly noticed how clean and sanitary everything was. The ladies in the shop were very nice. I was very impressed with the outcome of my braids! It is a little distance from my house but well worth it. I will be returning to get different kinds of braids in the future!

I was looking for an affordable braider in the DMV and Saran exceeded my expectations. I got knotless braids down to my butt and they look amazing. As soon as I stepped out the shop, I got so many compliments. I will be back!!

Rip off!!! She doesn't respond to text well. I have a braid falling out after a week of being done and had a wedding to attend m. Sent a text asking for her to fix it and no response. Charged $160 for the big a** box braids and I provided my own hair. Don't book her!!!! BEWARE!!!!

I have gone to NDella for years and since moving I now travel back to Salisbury because she does an excellent job. NDella is professional, and ensures she does a beautiful job. Yes sometimes service is slow but worth the wait.
