“On 7/27/24 at 8:54pm 2 young ladies and young male working hard. All seemed to be lost. First girl I saw with blondesh hair looked like she’d love to travel as a product tester and grader in my Explore More Just By Living Day 2 Day or maybe attend college. Other girl at register may way to work with artists. I think her tattoos were awesome looked like Alice in wonderland. And younger guy couldn’t quite ride. I think he’d enjoy something athetic please don’t give up. Please find your purpose. Seek college or find what you like to do. It helps that no prices are on the shevels cause they make a mess and take a lot of time to add and replac or resell if they are not needed anymore.”
“I love getting coupons for a percentage off our orders. I had gotten one for 15% off that I used. Staff is friendly and helpful. Found a bag of banana chips that I love. I enjoy shopping there.”
“This is a great place! Although the name on the store says Jeff's Thrift & Discount Store. Love the layout... its sectioned by type (kids, beauty, crafts, etc) and everything is neat and organized. Prices are clearly marked and very reasonable. The store owner(?) was very kind and friendly, and did not follow me through the store (as I've had people do in the past). I love the fact that with the books, there is a box of Bibles marked free. ? I'm so glad I found this thrift store, and I'll be coming back for sure!”

“Whenever I visit this location, I know I'm going to get the full post-apocalyptic vibe. So why the 5 stars? Because I go into it knowing what to expect.The store is always messy, the shelves are empty, and the food is expired. The employees are nowhere to be found.At this visit, I was getting a small ice cream treat for my son, and that alone was quite the experience. It seemed at one point the freezer may have stopped working, and all of the ice cream melted. Then, when it started working again, everything froze back together in a solid congealed mass. I was eventually able to find a newer bar of ice cream that wasn't covered in sticky goo. The door of the freezer stuck to my leg, and I could feel the stickiness as I pried it off. I still have a sticky spot on my jeans from the door ?.I am usually able to find what I need, and get out quickly. I've never had any issues with the employees being unfriendly (the few times I've seen them lol). This is really all that matters to me.”
“This store is always very neat and organized. I can always find what I'm looking for.The employees are always very friendly and helpful. You can easily find them if you have a question.There are no self-checkouts, but you never have to wait for a cashier.I always enjoy visiting this location.”

“Finally a four star DG. Almost had given up hope. This store was in pretty good shape. Dairy was acceptably stocked. There was some merchandise on one aisle that partly blocked it . The pet food aisle was in really good shape. I took pictures.”
“Very friendly staff!! Had the pleasure of meeting a sweet young lady “Kirstie”. She was very friendly and took the time to help me even tho I came in right near closing time!! The store is looking better as well I can tell management has changed for the better”
“Driving with my family we stopped at the Dollar General for snacks. Surprised how much there was to choose from we ended up doing some regular shopping. The clerk was friendly, polite and helpful. We look forward to shopping there again soon. NC”
