Extremely disappointed. I walked in at 10am for a quick trim on my shoulder length hair. Was told to come back at 12:30 because there was only one stylist- fine, no problem. Came back at scheduled appointment time, waited for almost an hour (1:15) before she told me she was going to squeeze another person in before me (a walk-in that came while I was waiting) and there were 2 stylists at that time. I felt discriminated against, and being service industry I am a fabulous tipper. I will not be coming back, and will discourage others from doing so. Huge waste of my time.

Crystal was amazing. She listens, we talked and she got my hair to the color I wanted. Wonderful experience and I sent my daughter there and they got alone great. Crystal is as sweet as they come. I highly recommend her.

Steven has been my stylist since he was located in Asheville. I would never go to anyone else for my hair, he always does amazing color work / cut. Plus our conversations are always great !! Even though it’s a bit of a drive for me now, it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommended giving Steven a go, you won’t be disappointed ?

This was my first time getting my haircut here, I was introduced to the stylist Steven by my wife who has been seeing him for about 2 years and he really did a great job making me feel fresh and confident! I will definitely be returning thanks to Steven!

Needed a last minute hair cut and high light for a trip to St Croix. Steven did a great job! Color was spot on and best hair I have had. Steven listened to the style I wanted and delivered! Will be a returning customer!

I was looking for a stylist and I saw the reviews for Cutting up on Main and decided to give them a try. I got an appointment with Crystal and I’m glad I did!!! I love my hair cut. I have struggled over the years to find a stylist who can cut layers and always walked out of appointments feeling disappointed. After seeing other reviews, I tried this salon and am SO GLAD that I did! Crystal was so nice and listened to exactly what I wanted. I will most definitely return for my next visit!
