Scheduling an appointment is WASTED TIME EVERY TIME! SAVE yourself the HEADACHE and go somewhere more professional.This Worx Hair Salon NEVER answers their phone. Their voicemail system instructs you to schedule appointments online. I booked online for the next day and saw several openings but was rescheduled for 1 week out. This happens every time. Comeon, pick up your phone and interact with your potential customers! Make it happen! If the appointment can't happen then BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL by calling the customer!

I LOVED this salon. They do such a good job with blondes. However, a recent situation left a bad taste in my mouth. My appointment was cancelled because my stylist was sick which I 1000% understood. I was super understanding and we rescheduled to Monday, which was the day before I leave for my wedding. It was all good, I got the confirmation, and then she texts me saying “someone else needed the appointment on Monday.” after I had already been scheduled that day and had the confirmation. …Okay…. Well. I don’t really no who else “needed” the appointment more considering I am a bride who is leaving the next day, but it’s fine. I don’t express any negative feelings and simply ask if there’s another day she has open. She says she can fit me in Saturday before I leave instead which sounds good to me. Morning of she cancels again because her child was now sick. I was again very understanding and kind and told her I was sorry her kid was sick and that I hoped she felt better. I then asked if there was any way I could fit in Monday (mind you, I originally had that appointment before she gave it to someone else for unknown reasons). She ended up ghosting me. And not responding at all. Obviously, illness is unpredictable, but I can’t help but feel that this could have been handled better. Given my situation that it was my wedding week and literally impossible to schedule anywhere else on such short notice, she could have at least found a coworker or someone else to come in and accommodate me Saturday or Monday since I literally had to leave Tuesday. This was unprofessional to just not respond and honestly a very frustrating situation right before my wedding. Your wedding day is literally the one day where you want to look your best. I called several salons and couldn’t get an appointment anywhere so last minute until finally I told the story to a different salon in Winston and they were incredibly annoyed for me and moved mountains to be able to squeeze me in and help me out. In terms of color they’re great, but in terms of customer service and professionalism there is a lot of room for improvement.

I brought my 91 year old grandmother, who has dementia, in today to see Sarah, after being referred by a neighbor. Sarah permed, cut, and styled my grandmother’s hair. She did an amazing job. Sarah was patient, gentle, kind, and so professional with my grandmother. She always asked my grandmother permission before she did anything and would ask me when my grandmother didn’t understand due to her being hard of hearing. Thank you so much Sarah. Highly recommend this shop. All the ladies were extremely nice. Shop is super clean.Services: Hairstyling

Sarah is amazing! I've been going for almost 6 months now and she has been able to help me get back healthy hair that looks naturally blonde without tons of maintenance. The flexible hours give you time to come on the weekends or even on Mondays if you get a special appointment. They have a wide variety of products if you like to buy salon shampoo, conditioner's, etc. Totally worth the drive from Winston to get my hair done there.
