The family loves 1792. We try and stop here whenever in town. Fattys lazy hazy is the stuff and the food truck is outside.

Neat hangout and watering hole, 1792 is named for the year when Person County was founded. Surprising to find they're open on a Sunday afternoon when literally everything else in "Uptown Roxboro" is closed. Inside, a long bar with ten or so stools, a dozen or so four top tables and lots of beer. Draft beer on tap, cooler with cold canned/bottled beers for consumption on site and several shelves of six packs and pony kegs to go. They also have some packaged snacks. A couple of tables on the street but in July, it's too hot for that nonsense. Food truck schedule posted on the wall, looks like they have one here once a week or so.
