Went here for a passport appointment. The woman working was very nice and helpful. Whole process took 5 minutes.

Called and complained today about the carriers not coming to our doors with "Certified Mail". Instead they leave the slips that say they "Tried To Deliver" something when they did not try at all. It happened again today and I caught the carrier driving away rather than attempt a delivery. After flagging the carrier down she said our driveway was blocked, when it was clearly not blocked, which is what I told the Post Office when I called to complain. Well, the Rougemont Post Office told the carrier that I had called to complain and the angered carrier made a special trip back to our door, ringing loudly at about 5pm during my birthday dinner, to raise her voice in a most nasal apprehension at us, berating us on our front porch for ever complaining about her. I suppose if someone can talk loud enough about how they do a good job, these days that must mean they do a good job, that's what I gathered. Very unpleasant.

My son went to get a passport today, it said online that walk-ins were welcome. There was not one person at the postoffice, however they made him make an appoinment and said that was old information. So now he will need to take time off work. I would have understood if it was busy or he was not prepared with his paperwork and photo already done.

Best passport appointment ever. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient service. We arrived at 8.36am for an 8.45am appointment and were done by 8.46. Well worth the drive from Durham.

Carrier left package beside mailbox on the Road with note on the box "left here to prevent a trip to the post office" Obviously not my regular carrier as they always bring packages that do not fit in box to my house.

Rude. They lie. Certain weekend mail delivery person is lazy and doesn’t do their job. Loose mail.

Customers are always last. They stay in the back cutting up and laughing while there are people waiting for service. They don't open until people are already at work, close before you get home from work and closed at your lunch break.

As stated by others, the older woman obviously hates her job. If you knock on the door outside of regular business hours (which nobody with a job can hit that small window), she will ignore you and stay on her cell phone. I was patiently waiting for her to retire, but now she's training the new guy to treat people the same way. Ask me how I know that she would rather send your mail back than open the door to hand it to people. It's the opposite of helpful when people can't retrieve packages delivered to their PO Box, that I rent, due to people putting more effort into trying to say NO than take the 2 steps to resolve the issue. I'd suggest additional training if I thought that it would help.

PAID EXTRA TO ENSURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE WELL; THREE WEEKS LATER I RECEIVED LETTER FROM PASSPORT OFFICE TELLING ME THE CORRECT INFORMATION WAS NOT SENT FROM ROUGEMONT POST OFFICE !!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!

Used this location for passport services. The lady helping us was pleasant, but clearly had no idea what she was doing. She insisted I did not need to include my marriage certificate for name change- spoiler alert the US Department of State disagrees, she called us to come back because she forgot to have us sign the document. We arrived for our appointment with all paperwork complete, documents in order and ready and still took over an hour. To top it off the other employee , who was not as pleasant, was very dismissive on my return visit when I complained about having to return a week later and spend an additional $25 to send the documents I had in my packet originally. So I wasted time, spent extra money, and my passport processing was delayed. If you are offering a service you need to have the employees trained to provide the service properly. Unfortunately, it's the US government and I can't take my business elsewhere.
