This company took around $850 worth of merchandise from us and refused to pay for it. They took our dresses, made false claims about them, then did a chargeback and KEPT the dresses.The dresses had a shipping error because it was the week of our high rains and the box got damaged, we were happy to replace them or exchange them for others but they refused...they only wanted to do chargebacks. They lied and said they weren't of good quality when a huge social media influencer just posted the same dress, from the same batch (not a paid post), because she loved it so much. We are also in 57 boutiques nation-wide so we believe in our quality of 100% organic cotton dresses.The owner of Pinafore told me they just got back from market and no longer "needed my dresses", At first she said they got damaged in shipping yet she wouldn't let us replace them with the exact same batch or other dresses. Then she stated the one dress didn't fit her co-owner who was 2XL, even tho it fits our employee who is also 2XL. When we mentioned we also have an employee with 2XL that's when the owner seemed to get mad and threaten chargebacks. So the owner decided to take our dresses and the payment.We started our company in honor of our mom who passed away, if this boutique treats us like this, imagine how they will treat you? Personally would never recommend going to a place like this. We 100% stand by our product.Edit: they ADMIT there was water damage (mildew) and they still blamed our quality. They also had these custom made so our policy says exchange only and they refused. Our manufacturers work with the top designers in the country and we know they’re amazing. We personally believe Pinafore possibly wanted to continue selling similar products they get off lashowroom or orangeshine from the market instead.

While in Zebulon today I stopped by Pinafore Boutique. I had an amazing time.. super friendly staff and I found 2 cute dresses I didn’t know I needed, but couldn’t live without and sunglasses for by the pool! If you’re in the area check them out!♥️
