Ya'll need to do something about these bratty and obnoxious kids and teenagers shoving into others and causing problems to everyone else in the lazy river. I'm not the only one who feels this way, others are complaining about this too and it's ruining the experience of those of us who pay to have memberships here too and your life guards aren't kicking these kids out. I have only seen ONE lifeguard actually do that. You're also not speaking to these kids parents who like to go sit at the bar and not pay attention to their kids. It's not our job to parent these kids or do your lifeguard's jobs for them.I'd start with putting them on notice about revoking memberships if they don't comply with the rules. No should be above the rules!

Was nice until everybody started bringing tons of guests who are disrespectful and don't keep tabs on their kids. Guess somebody had a bday party and their kids were disturbing a lot of people today. Not fun !!!

I've been a member for several years now and we always have a pleasant experience. Whether it be a group fitness class or cooling off by the pool in the summer, the staff is always nice and friendly and the facility is clean. Most recently, I brought a guest and her 6 yo son to the outdoor pool for the first time. I let them know ahead of time that we were going to have to listen to the lifeguards and their rules because safety is their top priority. I brought it up because I knew her son was going to be excited about the waterslide and was pretty sure he was slightly too short, which of course would require him to take the swim test. (Because rules are rules for a reason) And sure enough he was less than a 1/4 inch short so off to the lifeguards we went. Huge shout-out to Nikki for being accommodating, super sweet and explaining the test to him. He ended up failing the second part because he's only 6 and didn't fully understand treading water. Nikki told us to come find her during next break so he could try again which was awesome. He was slightly discouraged but I went and got him an ice cream and his mom and I re-explained what he had to do to pass and when the time came, he did it! He was so proud to have the band on his ankle and went down that water slide for the remainder of our visit, having the best time.Shout-out and thanks to all the guards for doing your job and all the training and hard work that goes into it so we all feel safe.

Would give it 5 stars but you can’t throw balls around with your kids on weekends. I think that is a ridiculous rule and that rule should be eliminated.

Being new in town, I asked a local FB group where to find swim lessons for my kids. When I called to ask more about membership and swim lessons, the person I spoke to was curt and unhelpful. I got through about two questions, and she just wanted me off the phone. I hope this is a one off experience, but it dissuaded me from becoming a member.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a pool. We arrived and my almost 9 yr old son was going down the slide enjoying his life for an hr. The next hour the lifeguard announced he was too short and made him come down after waiting in line because the pool is packed with kids. The next lifeguard said he was too short by less than 1/4 inch and was not permitted to go down the slide even though he had been doing it the hour before. As guests, I asked if it counted that he had earned his black band (that he was wearing) from the YMCA swim to which they replied "No because the lifeguard could have given that to him based on what he was wearing" which was a slap in the face. The YMCA does not take swim lightly and for them to say that to my son after all the hard work he did was a rude thing to say to and in front of a child. I also asked at what age can a child go down the slide? They then told me theres not an age, that is the minimum. I then asked even if you were my age and vertically challenged? and they said thats correct you would not be permitted. my son agreed to do their swim band test and the lifeguard fails my son because he said he saw him touch the ground before he touched the wall. Another parent and I did not agree that we saw him touch but again, my son agreed to do the entire swim test again. So 50 yards of lap swimming later, he passed. I found the guy who runs the swim area Brandon and went to just give some feedback about how I didn't appreciate the lifeguards attitudes, had they been nice it would have been different but that also if they were going to fail a child at the end of a test they need to reverse the test starting at a shallow end and ending at a deeper end so there is no question "if they touch the ground". That way you don't have to put children through that test twice like what happened to us. Well he did not receive that feedback well. He got very defensive and upset with me and disagreed and dismissed me as a whole. The next hour my son was trying to go down the slide and again the lifeguards were harassing him saying he can't go. I am in the lazy river underneath telling them he just passed the test and has 3 swim tests under his belt and that they need to go talk to Brandon if there is a problem, they ignore me. The lifeguard finally lets him go down and again, I go find Brandon with my son this time, to tell him that he is still being harassed after passing this test and getting a band! I go up to him with my son and said "okay this is still happening, what is the deal?" and he says well they are supposed to put them around the ankle. I said well no one told us that but they said he was too short even after showing the band and he immediately gets aggressive saying " OKAY, but did they let him go down?" and I said yes and before I could say more he raises his voice at me saying THEN MY LIFE GUARDS ARE DOING THEIR JOBS!". Wow, just wow. I can't believe they treat guests like this and have any business at all. I tried to contact a manager but what do you know they said they would connect me to a voicemail and then it never did. I'll have you know my son wanted to go home after all this and asked me why people in the world are so mean. I hope you all are happy with yourselves and what you put my son through today. He really loved swim before today and now I'm not so sure. He came home frustrated and irritated when it should have just been a fun day at the pool. I will make sure anyone I know with kids knows this is not a kid friendly place.

Was invited by a friend. Pool is small and crowded. Lazy river is tiny, two tubes cannot pass eachother. And the life guard was rude. Nothing like getting a whistle blown at you like your 12 y/o for sitting in a tube the way you have been for 40 years. My kids and I will not be returning. They should worry more about the camp children they have packed into the place like sardines.

Super clean facility! Straight forward and easy checkin process… snack and beverage bar. The lazy river was an absolute hit for my son, but the fitness center was my favorite! Highly recommend!

A REALLY nice health club except if you want to swim laps for exercise. Online advertising shows tons of pool availability. Fact is you can never get an indoor lane due to swim team using all lanes during most hours a working person could do. All i want is swim access. I am SO DISAPPOINTED. They say swim team leaves a lane or two open for members. They do not.

Nice clean facility. I was able to use the gym with a guest pass from a member who I was helping start a fitness journey.

This place is fantastic! My family and I had a fantastic time here. The indoor and outdoor pools are both salt water, which is fantastic. The lazy river is enjoyable. The slide was fantastic! I'm seriously considering joining the club.

If you are looking for a health club that offers you a family feel, GF is for you! Indoor pool available year-round. Outside there are three pools and several cabanas. Exercise classes and circuit training is available, too.

Great place to workout, they are lots of fun with the kids for both kidzone and date nights (we haven't taken advantage of their other childcare offerings).
