Don’t stay here!!! The room was nasty, sofa stained, curtain had holes and the staff was unwilling to clean the room because it was Thanksgiving holiday. This hotel need a total overhaul. Management is aware of conditions and could care less.

Would not recommend. I get it that its hard to find good cleaners.but this place should not be charging 225 per night while the room's appearance looks like its an hourly motel. They need to employ better quality control over the room cleaning. Ours was completely not what we typically get at a Marriott. Mattress was askew/ off its frame (hollywood metal frame) and not a queen size; we had to try and set it right, but that would involve taking the mattress off and setting tge frame rails parallel. We were just too tired from driving 24 hours to do that. When front desk asked me how it was, i mentioned these items...not seeking anything refunded, but just so the next folks wouldn't be faced with the problem with the bed and she disputed what i said. "All our beds are queens." Not "I'm sorry about your experience, but we'll, check on that" "Thanks for letting us know." Nope. "All our beds are queens." Great response. But whatever. I wont be back. It was not worth 50 let alone 225. Rug was brown and not to be trusted as clean, based on mold in bathroom and all fixtures having not been tended to in quite a while given the thick coating of dust. Grout in bathroom was black despite its original color being some shade of beige.

I loved our room. We had to be put in a handicap room due to it being fully booked, but it was very spacious! It was clean, and had a great kitchen /living area. Wonderful workout room. Good hot breakfast. The shower water pressure was great also! We love that because some hotels have barely any water pressure and its a pain. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay! Lobby is also very clean and nice!

Latoria Austin was absolutely amazing. Our daughter delivered our Grandson on Labor Day, 9/4/23 at Nash Women's Center. Upon late check in at this establishment, my family & I were greeted by Latoria. We shared our excitement with her. She too became overjoyed. When it was time to check out, the GM was also exceptionally friendly. She congratulated us and gave us a card for our daughter from the hotel. This kind gesture made a huge impact on all of us. Thank you again Latoria for your outstanding customer service. Guests from Room #116

Needs serious updating. Carpets are sticky from years of cleaning and use cycles. Lots of dirt behind furniture. Found a live waterbug behind headboard and in dishwasher. TV manufactured in 2008. TV picture looks like you're watching an old VHS tape. Internet TV doesnt work. Closet missing a sliding door. Service does rectify the problem to some degree but never proactively. They wait for complaints before anything is done. Here on a long term contract over 30 days. 3.9 is not an accurate representation of hotel condition or experience. Should be 2.5, or 3 stars at best. Like kitchenette, dishwasher, full size refrigerator and microwave.

The room itself - bed, couch, tvs, bathroom were all fine. Breakfast fine. However the noise from the highway was horrific. Very little sleep was had by anyone. Don’t let them put you in a room on the highway side.

I was in the houston area for a conference that was being held at the Marriott Marquise. I procrastinated and allowed the room block to sell out, and decided to just get a room close to the airport as possible and this is what I came up with .Whenever I travel for business or personal reasons I always stay at a marriott or Hilton property. I love the residence Inn because I can cook and it has more space than the traditional hotel. I just wasnt too impressed by this property. The bedroom was super small and there werent enough outlets next to the bed for the business traveler. The breakfast was truly subpar. And on the first night when I checked in I was greeted by a nice sized cockroach in the kitchen... not a "waterbug" as they call them there, a hood ole cockroach that I had to hunt down n kill, I also saw a baby in the kitchen as well so its clear they have a pest problem. I asked the front desk to put down some boric acid or something. She asked if I wanted to be moved, but I had very full days and simply didnt have the time or energy for the shifting. Undecided if I would stay there again.

Pay attention, this hotel is way past its prime. It is dirty, worn and old. The wife is a platinum member and we had a one night certificate for a free stay from Marriott and chose to stay in Rocky Mount as it was half way to our destination. The entire building is showing it's age, and the maintenance and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Others have mentioned the rooms bordering highway 64. and shame on me for not reading the reviews, but I thought using 22500 points it would be an upscale property, what a disappointment, and I will never book a hotel again with reading reviews. lesson learned. The room needed more attention from cleanliness to maintenance, than I care to list and a previous review mentions the highway noise, this covers rooms 100-110, 200-210, and 300-310 AND YOU WILL NOT AND CANNOT SLEEP IN THESE ROOMS DUE TO HIGHWAY NOISE.

The keycards need to be replaced daily. When you go to the front desk, they give you a new key without checking your id.In addition, the front desk gave someone the key to my coworkers room. The person entered while they were in the room.Lock your doors!

Stayed 3 nites with my brother in a 2 bedroom suite , occasion was a family wedding, We were from out of state. The hotel is one of 7 clustered in a area near the Gateway convention center ( which looked deserted??). There was a outback next door and a Texas restaurant with in the cluster of hotels. The residence inn seemed clean albeit a little worn. Comp breakfast was predictable and satisfactory. Didn’t use the workout room or the outdoor pool which seemed small. No noise problems . This hotel could benefit from more personable front desk personnel.
