Hicks Animal Clinic is superior! A very clean, neat, friendly animal clinic. I have had nothing but awesome dog care from Dr Michael Hicks and his staff! Very thorough and caring! If my fur baby is sick, I have always been seen in the same day… Dr Hicks even calls you to check on your pet if your dog or cat is sick.. I highly recommend!!!

They worked my goldendoodle, Ryver in. She had an ear infection and a skin infection. We are new to the area so this was a new vet to her and they made her feel so comfortable and loved! They absolutely LOVE the animals and what they do. Emily Murray is the BEST!! She is an animal whisperer!❤️❤️❤️

Hick's is hands down the most compassionate, thorough and professional animal clinic that I have ever visited. They have cared for 2 stray cats I took in and without having seen the new kitten called and check on his status having found out he was treated at Points East Veterinary hospital. They have a seamless care relationship that sets the highest bar I've ever seen for pet care. I will never take my animals anywhere else. If I ever move I might try to make them move with me lol.

We brought our cat in for her annual check up and vaccinations. Our wait time was minimal. The staff were friendly and provided us with suggestions for our cat going forward. We highly recommend Hicks Animal Clinic to provide veterinary services for your pet.

I adopted an approximately 2-year-old beagle from the Nash Co. Animal Shelter in March 2022, and Leah has been a Hicks Animal Clinic patient since that time. Dr. Michael examined her initially, and I was genuinely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, humor and overall warmth—his “down to earth” approach. I was grateful to have been able to schedule an appointment with Hicks Animal Clinic the day after I brought her home because I could tell she’d had a litter. She was a pitiful-looking but happy pup, and Dr. Michael assured me that her pink paws would return to white once she was given decent food—he was right! Dr. Michael performed her spay and subsequent heart-worm treatment. Friendliness and compassion are felt throughout the clinic from DeeAnn/Cindy, Luiz and the rest of the team from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. Additionally, it’s a full-service veterinary clinic, and I have no qualms boarding nor having Leah’s nails clipped there. I highly recommend Hicks Animal Clinic to anyone who asks!

I have been taking my animals to Hicks for many years. Everyone there is very nice. Never had an issue. Prompt service, pricing is very reasonable, and they show compassion towards your animals.

Hicks Animal Clinic has been our veterinarian choice for our very much loved dogs for many years. Dr. Stuart Hicks and now his son, Michael, are outstanding doctors. I have always felt comfortable partnering with them to take the best care of my furry family members. They are knowledgeable, professional and compassionate yet take the time to chat and get to know the pets and their owners. Their support staff are excellent as well. Hicks Animal Clinic is like part of our family! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, recognizes our dogs and is so sweet to them (even when our terrier mix is being difficult). Their docs are knowledgeable, kind, and we never have a problem getting an appointment when there is an issue. I trust them with all my pets' needs and am grateful for their presence in our community!
