This food lion, had great product selection. A friendly staff , and I was in and out in 10 minutes.

Staff is preoccupied with socializing rather than servicing customers or maintaining the store. Restock cart is always in the middle of the aisles so you have to get them to move the cart so that you can get by.
However, the store is clean and well stocked.

One of the top five grocery stores in Rocky Mount area. For towns 10 to 20 miles away, this is clutch for location.

Came to Food Lion on Saturday Nov 5th. After shopping produce and first two aisles notice there was only 2 cashiers. Lines were backed up terrible. When we got ready to check out it was worse. One cashiers needed a break so he was told to cut his light and they moved his customers putting the guy next in line back at the back. This whole time there was two associates at the service desk who finally opened registers. I was a CSM at Foodlion for years. This is ridiculous and sadly not the first time I have seen this at this store. If you are that short handed train every manager, every stock man to run a register. Poor management

Fast service, my number one choice. Staff very friendly; from the sales floor to the register, they'll assist you in finding what you need.
