Very Upset! I asked for knotless braids that would be slightly under my bra strap…. Because of the constant stop and go to assist other customers it has taken me 12 hrs and 16 minutes to get out! I am highly disappointed. Their work is wonderful however this customer service is atrocious! My appointment start time was at 8am and I appreciated them keeping that (which gives them the one star) but 12hrs and 16 minutes. Terrible service!!! I have never been to an African shop and waisted 12 hrs out of my day! You guys have got to do better! I will NOT be returning or referring others!

Please don’t waste your time or money going here if I could rate a 0 I would. I had my hair up less then a week and my braids was looking as if I had them up over 3 months. The hair they use is hella cheap. My hair style was $220 my front was cornrows and the back was knotless I asked for small they was well over medium. I end up getting a hair washed they didn’t say they charge for that which it should’ve been included with that $220 they called me at 9 pm to tell me that I didn’t pay the $20 for the hair wash after I was home I can’t make this up hella unprofessional for that and there’s a language barrier as well nobody in the shop speaks English. I wouldn’t let them braid my child Barbie doll hair. GO TO THE AFRICAN IN WILSON IF YOU EANT YOUR $ WORTHService: Braids

Hair looks terrible!!! Had to make her take it out and start over twice. Kept doing box braids when I asked for knotless. Didn’t even braid the ends down or add the curls to the end. I showed her a picture of exactly how I wanted it!! $300 wasted!!!Service: Braids

Service is terrible, they’re late EVERY time, they do not do the hairstyle you ask for, they are so unprofessional!!! Prices fluctuate depends on the braider..smh never going there again and I’ve been a faithful customer for over a year, enough is enough!!Service: Braids

I really wanted tribal braids. I cut my locs a few months ago, so my hair is short. I went to another braiding salon, but I was told that my hair was too short and to do another hairstyle that I did not want. I searched for other braiding salons in Rocky Mount and found Bella's. I called and asked if they did tribal braids and I told the owner that I had short hair, she told me to come in and it could be done. Six hours later I left the shop looking like a new person. I got so many compliments on my hair, it has been a month now and I am still getting compliments. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.Service: Braids

My braids are absolutely gorgeous. However, I had a tall dark skin pregnant African braider who had absolutely no manners or home training. She kept farting loudly over my head and never said excuse me. She is disgusting ? I will never come back here again. Rude and nastyService: Box Braids

I have done my hair at this place three times for this year but my last experience was the worse and it not with the person doing my hair she did an excellent job and was very professional it was the owner she is Crooked , tell me one price then when I sit in the chair the day of my appointment she told me a different price even when I told her that’s not what she told me before and it I’m not the only one she did that to Won’t be going back there she’s greedy.Service: Box Braids
