I work for a business here in Rockwell. Since Monday afternoon, I have been putting outgoing mail in the company mailbox. It is now Thursday and it has not been picked up but incoming mail has been put in the box. I have called the post office numerous times but the phone just rings several times then disconnects. This is poor service!

Automated system is terribleWhen it takes over an hour to talk to a local post office it is a waste of time there is no reason for automation to take over talking to somebody on the phone when all they have to do is pick up the phone and answer your question anger doesn’t even cover how bad I feeling right now I am I am definitely wanting to say words that I would want to take back so do some about your phone system get a person on the line ?????

1. This place has weird hours so If you work good luck.2. I don’t know what is going on with the delivery system but not just once or twice but every time i get a package that has a tracking number it will say out for delivery for entire day then get delivered the next day.....maybe the following. Meaning they scanned the bar code in rockwell and if it means for me to get my own package I couldn’t because they close weird times and is probably the root to the weirdness of the entire problem of nothing happening in a timely manner. My package could come from TX and take longer for it to get from Rockwell to my home than It did to come half way across the IS. Wake up and smell the coffee please.

Every time I order a package and it goes to the post office instead of being delivered by UPS, there is a 2-8 day delay. My school book arrived at your post office 5-1-20, are you reading it before you deliver it? Do I need to come pick it up?

Received a "Sorry we missed you" noticed at the business I work for in Rockwell. There was no attempt made, no knock on the business door, nothing. I called the Rockwell location as it was the one listed on the notice. The calling prompts were ridiculous and took 4 minutes to get through only to have to wait 30-40 minutes. I get it's a small location. I understand it's Rockwell. But this is a business. If some items don't make it to us we can't do our job. I think the process could have been handled better. I didn't even get through to a representative. I ended up having to cut the call and the owner of the business had to take time out of his day to go to the post office to pick up the package.

Mail is actually THROWN IN OUR YARD, not placed in mailbox

I've lived in Rockwell for around 25 years. Rockwell's Post Office leaves a lot to be desired. Too many times my mail is placed in the wrong box. Too many times my neighbors mail is placed in our box. Too many times we have to exchange mail AFTER the delivery to the wrong boxes. I have complained. I have been hung up on. I have been nice, and I have had to be ugly. Complaining, obviously, does no good. Today, yet another package was misplaced, the Amazon tracker said a package was delivered today at 1:17 PM. It was not in my mailbox. I can only hope that it was placed in a neighbors box and they might bring it to me......And the banjos pick on.....

I spoke with a gentleman who was extremely nice and helped me out as well as could be expected, but what I don't understand is how a package can be tracked and accepted by a carrier at the USPS in Rockwell but no one can find it is beyond me.

My mail ends up in another's box. Simply because my house number is the same as someone else's not the same street. I don't get a lot of things I order Thank goodness the other person is nice enough to bring to me. I also get hers. When did mail carriers get so stupid? Been going on for almost a yr.

I love Rockwell and the small town feel, but this post office has irritated me from time to time since 2008. Received a notice in my home mailbox that I may pick up a parcel at the post office. This was 7pm on Tuesday after work. I get off early Wednesday at 3pm in order to pick up by 5pm just to find they close at 12:30pm Wednesdays! How about including that information on a notice you put in a box on Tuesday. Most Post Offices are open til 5 and it's reasonable to expect Rockwell to be no different. I guess a little extra information so people know is asking too much?

I have a small home business and use only USPS for shipping. The click & ship service is a good value and a wonderful time management tool. I generate & pay for labels online, then carrier picks up packages in my mailbox...they also pick up larger packages right at my back door! thanks Rockwell branch and the carriers for great service!

First off, as far as the rural carriers go...they stink. I had to buy a huge mailbox in order for them to leave packages that would have been left by any other USPS carrier at another facility. Also, some days I can swear I get two mail deliveries. It's like they can't get it together. Secondly, prepare yourself for rudeness and inattentive people if you need to actually go inside the post office. I had a simple question on whether UPS picks up from the location, which according to the UPS website they do, but the guy inside was very quick to inform me that I was at a post office and not UPS. This is all while his back is turned towards me and his attention is on something else.
