I went in the store for a return, the store manager (who was Caucasian with black curly hair) told me she would not do my return w/o a receipt and after 30 days. Which I had purchased the item almost 30 days ago. But it broke.
When I called corporate, they said as long as I had the merchandise and the packaging that I had ninety days to make a return, Even without the receipt.
I am a regular customer of dollar general. And I have made a return before without a receipt. I think that it is a shame that dollar general's regular customers are treated as if they are thieves.
I explained to the manager that I had the card that I purchased the item with for reference. She still would not do my return. Shame on you!!!! Why would you treat good people like that, when you knew it was well within my right to return the item according to store policy? Uhm!

So it's hot today it is 87° and I am a trucker and I stopped at the Dollar General to grab some things and I wasn't leaving my cat when we don't have AC in the truck. He is my ESA I have a signed paper from my doctor I've went into several Dollar Generals who don't care at all. Soon as I walked in the store this lady I am almost definitely sure is a Karen was like "we don't allow any animals in the store". This isn't really about the store this is about the lady the store was okay a basic Dollar General. But I hope she loses her job. So if you have a service pet don't go to this Dollar General because they don't allow any pets.
