My husband visited the Shell station on September 1st and experienced a troubling situation. The staff shorted him $95 on a lottery ticket, refused to look at the tickets, would not check her calculations of the tickets, would not provide the name of the management or who to call when asked. He offered to wait, said he was sure it was an honest mistake they could go over it when the line was not as busy. Again the older woman refused. More troubling than being shorted money she threatened to call the police, referred to him as an "out-of-towner," and told him he “didn’t understand how things work around here”. Then proceeded to speak to customers she knew about the out-of-towner and ask if they had ever seen anything like this, because they just don’t know how it works around here and she would hate to call the police because they are right next door. I have attached a photo of the 4 lottery tickets on their counter. If this is not how you want your establishment to be represented, I would appreciate it if management could reach out to address this issue. I will be more than happy to update the review if we are contacted by management.

The soda fountain at the shell in Robinsville nc has an alarming amount of iron in the water system. I have gotten a drink for the fountain the past two weeks at shell and when I get something from the fountain all I can taste is rust and iron. Please do not drink from this machine till it is fixed!

Price fixing with the BP and 76 station. Prices always higher than any other towns in WNC. Lots of addicts wondering around here at night. Lock your doors.

Worst shell ever a employee there called me retarted there bc I have a speech impediment and said a retarted like me shouldn't have kid's and she spit on me while she was talking and sold me the wrong ciggerets and refused to exchange them or refund me she just laughed at me and had me spend more money to get the correct item I reported it to the manager but she didn't take action toward the employee so I called coprate

One of the more modern gas stations in the town, but I don't view that as a positive or negative. The smaller fill stations add to an already small town vibe that Robbinsville has. Bathroom for the ladies and gents (per the girlfriend and I) were acceptable. Nothing to scare you away.

Came in to fill up our rv tonight. We have a trailer with a pressure washer that we also needed to fill. While I was at the gas pump, a little red headed kid comes out and tells me that we have to get "this thing" out of there. We were not blocking the driveway or entrance and I was already pumping gas. I told him I would move when I was done and pointed out that we were not blocking anything. I finished and moved to the diesel island and began filling the rv. He continued to shut off the pump everytime I started it. He had 5 other kids in the store hanging around and they kept coming to the door and laughing each time he shut it off. When I finished, I went into the store to get the receipt for the gas I pumped and to ask for the managers name and number. He refused to give me anymore than the corporate number and so I told him I would Google it. I exit the store and as I am getting to our rv, he comes running out on the phone supposedly talking to the police, telling them that we were causing problems. We waited on the police to get there. The cop was laughing while we were talking and told us to go. I Googled the store, there happen to be 2 phone numbers listed. I will be calling them in the morning. along with corporate. This is not the way you treat customers that come in and spend $200!
