Long story short...I pulled in there today April 10th 2023, with a broken boat trailer. The young lady who greeted me was super friendly. The owner was very professional. They not only were willing to attempt to fix my trailer but were able to hook me up with a local man with a boat trailer for sale. I rolled away with a much nicer and newer boat trailer for $300. The guys at the shop helped me transfer my boat from the broken ancient trailer to the new one and didn't charge me a dime. Just a bunch of good helpful people. Rare to find people like that now days.

Customer serviceI’ve been a customer of this business for many years but it has changed ownership. If there is a lady behind the counter tread lightly, she is always in a bad mood. My A/C compressor in my Corvette kicked the bucket up there while driving the Dragon. These folks could've taken advantage of my situation, but didn't. They went above and beyond to help source the part and installed it right away. Pricing was great. Good, honest people.

We have been met with nothing but rudeness, hostility, and an apparent inability to control temperament when speaking on the phone with both Jim and Diane, the new owners at the Boat and Auto Shop. We had initially brought our boat over to the old owners, and it did not seem that there would be an easy fix for the boat. During this time, the ownership changed over to Jim and Diane. We were unfortunately not able to get back to Robbinsville for about 6 months in order to retrieve our boat. Then of course, the pandemic started, and travel to Graham County was not advised. That said, we could not get down there. We had received a couple voicemails from the two owners about picking up the boat, and admittedly, the time had gotten away from us, and we were late in returning their calls. We got back in touch a couple months later with the intention of resolving the matter, and were absolutely appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and rudeness that they showed us both. We were met with animosity and even hostile accusations. It was absolutely ridiculous. We have NEVER dealt with this level of terrible customer service in our life; we truly couldn't believe the way they acted. This could have been resolved in a friendly and cordial manner, but they chose a different way to conduct their business and customer relations. We will not be back.We complied with, and paid, their $50 monthly storage fees (even though the boat was left uncovered and full of standing water) until we were able to figure out how to get down there and have the boat moved. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 2 hours to Knoxville or a nearby city to get your boat serviced.
