Dollar general on 8th St in Roanoke rapids NC is a disgrace. All the stuff blocking the isles. Store is nasty no one will help you except Terry and Cheryl. You can tell they don't want to help you or answer you. They never answer the phone. And when they finally do they have an attitude from hail. And the self checkouts are never open. This store needs to be shut down and cleaned out and get new staff except Terry and Cheryl. They never have anything in stock because of ppl stealing and no cameras. It's sad. Close this store down or make changes fast. If I could I would rate this as a zero of stars not one. What is the point of calling customer service to complain and nothing is being done. And the store either will not answer there phone or line is busy for hours. The phone isn't a toy to play on it's a business.

I will never go back to this store. You couldn't walk down the aisle due to boxes everywhere. It's a accident waiting to happen. I don't blame the employees I blame upper management. Shame on upper management for letting the store get in this shape.

The one star has to do with Dollar general itself not the employee's. Dollar general needs to pay more, or hire more workers stop trying to run stores with a skeleton crew

If I could share the pictures of all aisles blocked leaves all in the floor cashiers having people standing near discussing personal business while lines extremely long I would. It is ridiculous how nasty this store at 80 was 8th st is. I had no issue with this store being put where it was even though others signed petitions and went to council meetings disputing its placement but now I see why. Corporate yaw need to get to this store and work out the bugs because it wasn't bad when it first opened.

Went to the one on Roanoke Avenue in Roanoke Rapids, NC today. Last 3 times I've been there and stock carts were blocking every isle. No exception today. I mean I literally couldn't get down a single isle. Walked right out. So disappointed in that store. ?♀️
